Qatar, Dubai and most successful middle eastern countries started out as nomads and primitive agricultures in the arid environment , that was only 40 years ago and the transformation was very rapid. I am a US soldier who just came back from Djibouti, spending most of my time in Holl Holl, Obock, Yoboki and Tadjoura. I hope the Issas allow projects for the Afar people in the North.
