no. the way a program smooths out video is by zooming in on the clip to avoid showing background. Obviously, that causes loss of resolution, but not too much usually.
The smooth cam effect in final cut 6 is amazing. I have been using afterFX with tracking and stabilizing myself, but not with a result like this! Impressive
