Full HD is 1920X1080 pixels and this i only 1280X720.. so it could be more clear yes. AND I don't think he used the maximum quality at this one..

Take a look at the Canon HF200, it makes much sharper images. I had the SD 100 at home for 3 days and sent it back because I wasn't satisfied about the sharpness. The cam isn't bad but there are better cams for that price.

I have this same camera...I use adobe premiere elements 7, and you can drag the files straight in with no conversion...which is awesome. .MTS, or .M2TS

i've recently baught this camcorder.Unfortunately videos i have posted on youtube are dim ,i'm disappointed about that.I've used a converter ,still i got no real improvement

Videos right off the camera are dim because it uses digital 16 as black. For the Web you want digital 0 as black. You need to adjust levels.

Kein Thema! ;-) jau, das HQ Video ist nicht die "Rohdatei" von der Cam, sondern ein komprimiertes, aber trotzdem noch recht hochauflösend um einfach mal zu zeigen wie die Qualität ist. Viel Spaß damit, die Cam ist echt klasse!

soweit ich weiss steht die 100 nur für das Modell, der Vorgänger hieß SD9. Hat also nichts zu bedeuten.

hallo, ich hab die gleiche kamera in london gekauft vor 4 wochen. hab alle meine videos hier damit gemacht. qualität ist genial. bedienung auch und einfaches menue. nur software find ich etwas scheisse.

No, the Panasonic cannot do the super slomotion. Quite honestly, its a gimmick that Sony and few others use. Video quality is severly diminished when using this mode. Only really expensive camcorders pull off such a feat with proper execution. Just my .02

I cant answer his question though. I dont know if its the single CMOS that does it, or just CMOS sensors in general.

I need to know one thing, this camera as 3MOS, its not a tradicional CMOS sensor... but... it suffers from Rolling Shutter isues like hv20/30 for ex?! thanks ;)

yes, a little bit, but dont forget: you cant make a low light/night movie with a 600 dollar camcorder, the pictures is not very good! For really good night/low light movies, you must buy a 3000 Dollar Camcorder ;) The HDC-SD100 has a awesome quality at daylight!!
