  • Whenever they do robot demonstrations, why do they always load the guns?

  • You're coming with me, Cain..

  • As a kid, I found it incredibly fucking stupid to put a criminal's mind into a 'Robocop'. Today, I still find it incredibly fucking stupid to put a criminal's mind into a 'Robocop'.

  • @edmundloh

I agree. To this day I don't get what Faxx's motivation was for choosing a clearly completely fucked up robocandidate.

  • robocop 2 sucks ass

  • the most of this trailer is the climax of the film, and i can not believe that they would show gory stuff like that in a trailer, children could get nightmares from such things

  • Peter weller was only good in this and 24!! but he was the best in both.

  • @nigel101 what about Dexter??? he was great in that

  • Why does dystopian Detroit seem so much better than real Detroit?

  • he was not only futuristic,he had the punchlines as well. It's perfect

  • Robocop 3 sucks because they replaced his gun with some less cool weapon, and when he does use the Auto-9, which is rare, it's automatic and not burst fire like in the first two movies.

  • @roboecto Robocop 3 sucks because its cartoonish and stupid, not to mention it was a fucking PG-13.

  • 0:15 why and how did he shoot him without looking at him?

  • @orliwoolf

he can localise the source of noise of footsteps and gunfire by matching the noiselevel with his visuall data of his short time memorie and the blueprint of the building. because he has all static data from Detroit plus a wireless inet accsess with an old 28.8k modem :)

  • @BabyTua

    That makes sense.

  • @BabyTua Well put.

  • Anyway Robocop was a marvel so the realisator made it nearly perfect on Robocop 1 & 2 , i don't talk about Robocop 3 that got ruined with Asian stuff to show us that Asian was the best and we all knew that already . but You say about Cannibal Holocaust of being violent lol ? a stupid movie like that the only scene that was disgusting was the rip and cut off of the turtle , the rest was deja vu in other movies . but like i said Robocop was not for kids for below 16

  • I bet Professor Peter Weller still gets jokes about these movies from his students.

  • Comment removed

  • And fun is all those 'future-like' movies were telling us the truth about what the future would be and come . As when you look how the world is nowadays with all the violence and war it really remember and reminds to those old movies Robocop,Terminator,Steven Seagal's movies etc... Still i'm asking me why can't they make robo-cops in real life ?!! would so love to see a real ED-209 :) :) lol

  • i love the movies from those years , NO CGI , they could make really a classy movie not as nowadays shit that really gets boring and those so called 3-D movies is just as good to thrown away in the bin !!! Why can't movie producers make movies like this anymore ?!! i so miss those times alot . With an itsi-bitsi of everything in it ultra-violence, humor , action, a way of life to let us think about the future and so on ...

  • The biggest problem with this sequel, imho, is that they didn't bring back Basil Poledouris to do the music.

  • I don't see why you can't hate Robocop. He carries around a big ass gun and kicks ass. What's wrong with that lol

  • the weird thing is If ROBOCOP works so well why the fuck do they keep trying to replace him GOD DAMNIT! >.<

  • Will they remake Robocop

    THINK IT OVER CREEP....

  • Will they ever make another ROBOCOP movie

  • @skywalker71903 Nope.

  • Nobody seems to have touched on the reason why I think Robocop 2 falls a bit short: Antagonist. While Robo-Cain is an amazing stop-motion creation and possibly the best designed robot I've ever seen on the silver screen... Plain ol' human Cain is completely lackluster compared to Boddicker. Kurtwood Smith pulls off one hell of a performances in the first film, looking like a used car salesman but with his body-language and attitude screaming "psycho killer".

  • "BEEHAAVE YOURSELVES!!"

  • Considering the fucking about behind the scenes, Irvin Kershner managed to salvage the fiasco into at least a half-decent film. The action and stop motion alone were brilliant.

#3 dumbed the franchise down into a semi-violent kiddy-flick and removed most of the stop motion action that made the first two so awesome to watch.

  • Reminds me of terminator.

  • Wow they really got the future of Detroit right!

  • Onn man just think of Chuck Norris played as RoboCOP!!!!

  • the stop motion in this is awesome

  • good old days....

  • One of the best thing about the RoboCop films were the epic one liners.

  • robocop 2 was a shameful disgrace to the first masterpiece

  • This trailer kind of spoils the movie. The trailer should have been much better.

And Robocop 2 is a worthy sequel, still kind of violent and a more bad-ass villian that actually defeated Robocop. But there will never be a movie which can top the perfection of Robocop.

  • Cain! Let's step outside!

  • @zuberty2 The most epic line ever. Robocop calling him out, such a fucking badass.

  • :01

  • i love the font of the title and its design

  • Wut, brains with eyes? :P

  • Dead or Alive your coming with me

  • Behave yourselves!!!

  • the best robocop movie

  • THIS--> ( . Y . ) is a bust!

  • This. Is a BUST.

  • for me i think this one is better then 1st and 3rd thats just me well atleast the 3rd one

  • "Let's Step Outside..!"

  • Robo returns!

    search for

    Atlas Films Officer Down

    You will dig it!

  • I don't know. For the guy that directed one of the greatest sequels (if not THE greatest) of all time, Irvin Kershner really dropped the ball with "Robocop 2". That's why I can never fully attribute "Empire Strikes Back" success on him alone like many Star Wars fans do when they try to dissociate George Lucas's involvement with that movie. I keep thinking to myself, "And 7 years later, this guy makes 'Robocop 2'. What a shame!"

  • @Althman What do you mean? You don't think he did a good job on this film.

  • @dhansome20 Oh, I think he did a good job. Not an excellent job, nor a poor job. But a good job. The thing is, I believe Paul Verhoeven set up Robocop to be so much more than what Kershner took it to be. For example, a lot of people bring up removing Basil Poledouris' score. Also, they don't adequately give Murphy's character enough reasoning to just shut out his wife like he does. Then you have the villains, which range from silly (the kid) to underdeveloped (Cain). I really blame the comics.

  • Bloody hell, great movie but back then they pretty much show the whole story in the trailer.

  • muito irado asisri muito!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dead or alive you're coming with me

  • "This is a BUST!"

    "Cain! Let's step outside!"

  • DAT THANG IS A KILLAH

  • Wicked film ,it was underrated.I Also thought the black girl in it was fucking hot

  • 0:43 - Robocop is high

  • Orion should have stopped with this one and never made part 3.

  • it was ok

  • 5 stars for the brust mode pistol

  • LUBIE TO !!!

  • No way! It was brilliant movie. It was as great as original, maybe even better because had more action scenes. The only one annoying person was in it - little kid. All others were great.

    I love RoboCop series

  • @ViolaXZ yep,

  • Great flick.

  • this movie is HILARIOUS. get stoned and watch it.

  • STFU old man !!!

  • No more nuke for you bitch! Ha ha! I love the kid in this movie!

  • CAIN!!! LET'S STEP OUTSIDE!

  • why is robocop blue in this movie?

  • I know, lets take a Psychotic Person and make him a Super Unstopable Robot that we will lose control of.

  • Wow that trailer basically told the entire story of the movie

  • Robocop 2 is a worthy sequel. Very under rated in my opinion and i enjoy it very much just like the first one. BUT THE 3RD ONE..........no...NO!!!.... if you ask me about robocop 3 ill just walk away from you in shame that you even mentioned it. We do not speak of it....WE DONT. Its like the super mario movie. You just dont mention that.

  • I do agree, it's underrated. But I'm just disappointed they ruined the shift from satire to goofy dialogue, and RoboCop suddenly going back to being robot-y. Am I the only one who thinks RoboCop with humanity that STAYS is an interesting scenario? He moves like a machine, fights like a machine, but has humor.

...I really wish the sequel would have built on that.

  • if the music from the film was incorporated in the 2nd film it woul;d have been pretty cool!

  • BEHAAAAAVE YOURSELVES!!!!

  • Terrible, spoiling trailer.

  • that is a great moment when robocop says "Kane lets step outside"

  • Hey, someone remember what's the name of that thing that they put on their neck?

  • The drog name was NUKE

  • Good film, decent Sequel, but (and I dont mean to sound like a critic here) RoboCop2 strayed away from the "Ultra Violence" its predecessor had. Still 1000 times better than the third one. Lets just Imagine that never happened. Yes, there were only ever TWO "RoboCop" films.

  • @RaikenXion

    Yeah. You're right.

  • @RaikenXion I like to imagine that there was only one.

  • @RaikenXion kta serrusss strreuuss harus nikah sama adik imnndon

  • @aasyran NO! NO! NO! NO! NOOOOOO! "aasyran" lma, cesscuss, guttiee, allah, Guru Gobbid Singh shake gilli aasyran. Ok!?!?! shalli abuddu, buddah himajhad giddi amin galbeck biddi biddi hannan. Guttiee shallah shooku!!!!

  • @RaikenXion While its not as good as the first one, How can you can they shyed away from the violence? This one was massively gorey, groteque, and evil. Look at all the people blown away, the dissecting alive torture scene in the underground surgery room, the caine brain surgery, robocaine tearing ppl up, a guy gets his eye blown off, etc etc...throughout the whole movie theres sick shit.

  • @KevsHardLemonade Yeah, you're right there is alot of violence in this second film, but for me anyway, "RoboCop2" just doesn't have that same edginess as the first film. "I'd buy that for a dollar!!!" (lol)

  • @RaikenXion i think it was just as violent if not more violent. My problem with this film is it didn't utilize the satire in violence that the first film did. this one was for mir shock value only and it was not in the same taste as the first one. Also, I just think this had a very choppy story with just a bad delivery.

  • @Brettwbeyer14 I'm with you on the shaky delivery, but Robocop 2 had lots of comedy violence... it almost feels like a splatter at some point. Just listen to the sound-effect when RC2 uses it's bettering ram. Besides, you can hardly blame an action movie for using violence for shock value.

  • @RaikenXion and also they made up a drug in this one unlike the first when they had cocaine.

  • @RaikenXion Frank Miller wrote the script for part 2 but the ex butcherd it! Look up frank millers ROBOCOP comic THATS THE WAY HE WANTED IT ITS ROBOCOP 2 and its waaaaay more bloodier.

Cain rips throu people on the street looking for NUKE

  • @LordValor001 Yeh I did hear abit about Frank Miller's Involvement in the Robocop Series, and he wud have been perfect for it, he brings a level of violence to his comics and movies that is very stylish and creative, without being too extra. I'll have 2 check out those comics. It wud b nice if they cud make another sequel, we dont need a reboot, but kinda do what Superman returns did, and carry on from the second film, ignoring the third one.

  • @RaikenXion Strayed away from the ultra violence? You mean like the scenes where a guy gets tortured by getting surgically cut open while alive, a guy getting his brain ripped out of his head, or a little kid getting killed, or getting shot through the eye in close up, or getting the back of a guy's head blown off, or girl getting her bones crushed by robo caine, or the warehouse massacre by robo caine? What a tame move. Right.

  • @KevsHardLemonade Well yes it is quite tame, the guy getting surgically cut open is stylishly cut, that u dont c it. The woman getting her bones crushed as u put it doesnt hav that hard hitting and violent Impact but looks kinda comical really cus its just mo-cap/animated. Even the warehouse massacre scene doesnt hav the same feel of pure violence the same way ED 209 shoots that guy in Robo1. Robo2 is violent but I will say its level of violence is NOT "Ultra Violent" like its predecessor.

  • @RaikenXion Not as viscerally violent as the first maybe, but still more gruesome and depraved than most mainstream movies.

  • @KevsHardLemonade Sure CSI and all that is not violent ?!!? lol com'n they show those shit flics in the morning and our kids before going to school are watching that . So nice to see someone get killed at 7.30am that isn't violence ? Seeing Lady Gaga or other singers clips kinda too much sexual or even violent that is way okay no violent either ?? Anyway Robocop 1 & 2 was not allowed for kids to watch not below 16 or 18 years old in my know

  • @defiraphi Lady Gaga is gross not violent. CSI is not graphically violent. Robocop 1 & 2 are ultra violent. I saw the first one when I was a little kid and even now as an adult still find it extremely violent compared to most movies.

  • @KevsHardLemonade lol CSI not violent killing seeing murders with blood , if a kid would watch that should be also shocked . Harry Potter movies not violent ??!! lol ultra violent for kids sorry Harry Potter is similar as Lords of the Rings not for kids . Some of the monsters are really close like horror movies and the battles way too much . Then we can also put Judge Dredd,Terminator,Predator,Commando,Bloodsport and so on as Ultra-Violent

  • @defiraphi Just because a movie has explosions, action, or monsters does not make it ultra-violent. Gruesomely violent movies have extreme graphic violence like robocop, evil dead, natural born killers, oldboy, cannibal holocaust, i spit on your grave, (maybe) predator, maniac, salo, audition, ichi the killer, a serbian film, irreversible, martyrs, philosophy of a knife, clockwork orange, combat shock, day of the dead (1985), etc. NOT harry potter or lord of the rings lol c'mon

  • @KimberlyKN but too much explosion or killing into a movie is called violence in my known , and Harry Potter or Lords of the Rings are falling in that way monsters or things that are not real . So why then complain about cartoon of the old style like GI Joe , He-Man and list is long that nowadays stupid brainless people call them violent for kids but what we see nowadays are more hardcore even reality shows are more violent showing nudity, sex, and so on so if you like that go on ...

  • @KimberlyKN well if You think how monstruous they made monsters in Harry Potter and Lords of the Rings think twice . violence is seen differently . as You love both of those i can feel it and i respect that but com'n be serious . Like i said previously violence can indulge all , the way of language , body parts, blood , sex and so on . if You think Voldemort in Harry Potter is sexy for kids and not making nightmares well i more love read the books than the movies they made of it

  • @KimberlyKN and evil dead is a joke nothing horror that we all know , but the real violence is what we see outside not into a movie . but people lately are so stupid that we are not more allowed to have real movie like the past only stupid movies that make me sleep or stupid cartoons well heck of it we are adults i want a real adult movie with action, violence in it like Scarface or such , nothing cheesy that is made nowadays glad there's DVD and still our old VHS cassettes

  • @defiraphi This is coming from the same person who is terrified of Harry Potter?? One minute you say X-Men is the the most violent disgusting thing you ever saw and the next minute you say you want more movies like scarface?? and by the way I repeat, there is a difference better action (explosions/fighting) and graphic violence (blood, guts, torture). Scary does not mean the same thing as disgusting or gruesome also.

  • @KevsHardLemonade I talk about the kids for Harry Potter NOT me . and you said into your previous comment this ' I saw the first one when I was a little kid ' as like i said for two times now a 3rd time Robocop was not for kids on those times not below 16 or 18 years old . So if You want to know more movies that showed gruesome on those times and before tell me !? .And as far i know all kids as adults think different so explosions, body parts, blood, language and SO ON can also be violent ....

  • @KevsHardLemonade Action = explosion/fight ok but when we see into a fight scene blood, body parts got ripped off like an eye or such for example ? is it still action ? no in my known . Or watching someone put their fingers in their eyes is that still action ? no , it is also called mutulation . Same as scenes from Rambo movies when he got electrocuted or in the mud it is also called gruesome, torture, gross in my known and there are so many scenes in movies same in Godfather and so on ...

  • @defiraphi Then every single movie can be considered violent or YOU have a very very low tolerance for violence.

  • @KevsHardLemonade Well not every single movie but obviously you don't consider movies that You like or not those You don't like are bad and those You like are good well instead to talk overall . The whole movie world any movie and its story and scenes . No it stops for some silly scenes and thats it. I'm just asking and no offence , are You a real movie nerd or just one that like a particular movie/movies and the rest you don't care ? just a fair honest

  • @KevsHardLemonade Don't mix tolerance into movie world please . As obviously alot parents in the past allowed their kids to watch movies they shoulddn't watch then some got frustated or scared and made nightmares and nowadays those exact same person that were kids are forbidding us to see real movies since it made them scared/sick or nightmares com'n those people i call nothing and really should enjoy more life than invent s**t !! . but when it says pegi 16 or else then why see it ??

  • @defiraphi Im not trying to offend you but what language do you normally speak? Because what your saying makes no sense to me and sounds like incoherent gibberish. I have no clue what your babbling about but I love all kinds of movies. Sex is sex. Violence is violence. They are two different things. Sex is not violence unless violence is depicted. Do you know what violence means? Sex can be beautiful. Does it repulse you or something?

  • @KevsHardLemonade Anyway we don't know us ? and my point of view of movies isn't same as Yours. But i love hard action movies same as horror movies and so on so i don't complain but i at least i talk not for me !! i talk for others , kids or even adults that are easily taken emotionaly got it now ? or do i need to go deeper . If you think Robocop is violent ok then but what about old war movies some scenes on that times 1960-1970 were disgusting , of course it is old , but so is Robocop too ..

  • @defiraphi Thats why there is a rating system. If its R rated (for adults) and you dont like that then dont watch it. I like all kinds of movies from 1930s to present and so on.

  • @KevsHardLemonade Obviously you don't read my comments at all when i sed violence can indulge anything and not only 1 thing(entity) so , sex/nudity can be violent too , action can be violent , the manner how they speak/language is violent too , explosions can be violent too . Just an easy example in 1930 +/- a Kiss on the mouth was still considerated as outrageous and nowadays it still is for some stupid scenes so don't make me laugh please . we are 2011 and still oldstyle for alot ....

  • @defiraphi And please have someone help you respond next time because I get a headache reading your posts and trying yo figure out what hell you are trying to saying.

  • @KevsHardLemonade X-Men, Wolverine not violent ?!! Even old war movies are then violent alot dead bodies and . Steven Seagal , Chuck Norris, Bruce Lee movies not violent ?! Cyborg movie with Jean-Claude Vandamme not violent ? the scene when the badass kills that woman and put a wood stick in the mouth of the guy ?!!! and Horror movies are not violent??!! ( example Hostel, Saw etc.. ) sick movies to make a kid make more nightmares than Robocop

  • @defiraphi X-men origins wolverine does not have people's body parts being ripped apart or guys melting or brains getting ripped out of heads. It doesnt even have blood. Youre confusing action and explosions with ULTRA-VIOLENCE. Seagal, Vann Damme flicks are old school movies...I did not say that Robocop is the only violent movie ever, I said its more violent than most movies nowadays. Maybe you find the mosters in lord of the rings scary but that doesnt make the movie ultra violent or gruesome.

  • @KimberlyKN well obviously you don't know what violence is sorry , for kids about age of 8 or 12 those movies are not allowed X-men or not and You obviously say already fail things Seagal and Van Damme movies are old school read your own text as Robocop is old action movie too 1988 , 1990 so what are you talking about ? i don't talk about explosions but about an overall movie . Movie that show nudity is sex right , movies that shows fights or battles or what ever it is called is action next..

  • @KimberlyKN And a movie has no age in my known for those who are really loving movies and can see any movies without complaining all the time . That is the main thing sorry . How can You even talk about old school movies as those action movies from now are too much cheesy com'n . lol Jason Bourne = Action well it is deja vue for me and Salt from Angelina Jolie = Jason Bourne more cheesy and girly likes Mrs&Ms Smith yawns at the movies nowadays

  • @KevsHardLemonade No where near as "viscerally violent" as RoboCop1. 4 me RoboCop is a true classic especially if u watch the uncut director's cut. Murphy's killing at the start is just a total overdrive of Ultra Violence, its the only movie I know that took violence that far especially at that time. I will say Robo2 is a good sequel indeed more violent than most movies today. Only movie I know today thats quite Ultra Violent is Rambo 4, Stallone really tried 2 bring bk 2 the oldskool with that1

  • @RaikenXion part 1 and 2 are great, its part 3 that is crap

  • @15551cue Thats wot I sed in my original comment :))

  • i have been a fan of this since i was small, the cartoon, the tv series, and the movies ...

  • Robocop 2 was underrated. Certaingly above and beyond the third movie. At least here Weller tried not to take a step back as Murphy. The attitude he displays here would never be duplicated by any other actor portraying Robocop.

It's a shame the sequels and the series did nothng but focus on the 20% of Verhoven's original (the dark comedy, corproate commentary, and cyberpunk elements) without fleshing out other aspectrs that made the movie a true classic.

  • The Problem I had with this is that they didnt use the original music score from the first one(which is what they are using in the trailer) back in the 90's they had a habbit of changing the scores like that I.E. Batman Schumaucher

  • I don't like Murphy's attitude in the 2nd movie. The darker, revenge seeking personality from the first film suited the character better.

  • uplaod the full movie of robocop 2

  • as a kid this film scared me......

  • wow.

  • I only liked it because Peter Weller returned as Robocop.

  • I think the problem with that movie is the script, i never liked it, and of course i never liked the third(well maybe i did when i was 9 :P). But the point is, for me, only the first Robocop really exists, the second and third movie never came out... They were just a bad dream :D

  • i totally agree with you dude.there is soo many things that are wrong with this movie.well i loved robocop2 and 3 as a kid but damn do i hate em now haha.the first robocop is one of the best movies of all time

  • Yes the first one is a classic, but this one is pretty good. just not as good. Its quite different. Compared to the sequels that come out today, at least this had some substance, and some actual style.

  • This film sucks ass.

And this was the teaser trailer for fuck sake.

All the moodiness and character depth of Verhoevens masterpiece destroyed.

Robocop given a nice blue tint and a whole bunch of corny one liners and the very fact that OCP 'made' Robocop 2 (didn't they fucking learn after ED209) is just an insult to the original.

As far as I am concerned the story ended at the first film.

    BEHAVE YOURSELVES

    What a load of shit

  • did you not know that Frank Miller the Sin City and 300 guy made the orginal story for Robocop 2 it was Kain but it was very very more graphic him tearing up homeless people and killing everyone in the street for no reason he gave it to him they ripped it apart into this..its not bad...but its not Robocop the original thats for sure.... sad look up Frank Millers Robocop comics its what Robocop2 should of been.

  • DO YOU WANT TO LEARN HOW TO SHUT UP?

  • I hate this movie!!!!

  • why,the first two are pretty awesome! The third sucked, yeah, but this one is awesome. And thank you for your cooperation. Good night.

  • I'm sorry but i thikn what ever heart and soul was in Robocop 1 was sucked out in Robocop 2 that's just how I see it.

  • yeah, robo 2 does not have so much "a-man-in-a-machine" theme.

  • Ahahah, my bad. I meant the scene at 0:15 and the riding scene at 0:29 to 0:35!

    I'm such a dumbass.

  • It is still so freakin' hard for me to belive that real breathing people have made so awesome sci-fi films in the 70ies, 80ies and earlier 90ies like Robocop 1 and 2, Terminator 1 and 2, Alien Trilogy, Predator, Total Recall, the "old" Star Wars trilogy, etc. For example look at the scene from 1:29 - 1:35 where Robo is on a chopper. I remember only the Terminator films where I have seen a cyborg, or android riding a motorcycle. It was such a cool move. Oh and do not forget "ROBOSTYLE" at 1:15!

  • 1:30 robo cop got pwnd.

    I hate him!

  • I dont think this is the actual trailer... Believe me.

  • i always thought robocop 2 was meant to be shite but kain or kane or cain or cane or caine...etc looks pretty badass

  • "BEHAVE YOURSELVES!" Lol!

  • Play that in slow mo with mute and it looks likes he is saying "Blow Yourselves!"

  • The thing I don't understand about Robocop : Meltdown is that why is all the characters different

  • It's an okay film. The reason many people are so forgiving with it is because of Robocop 3. It's a fucking masterpiece compared to that kiddy crap.

  • I miss these movies so much. Robocop 2 was an okay sequel, but Robocop 3 was terrible, that movie ruined Robocop for me.

  • The sequel suffers from a terrible script, I would have liked to have seen Frank Miller's original script unaltered

  • This movie was wack as shyt...First one is a classic though

  • Robocop 2 made a fucking mockery of the original.

Verhoven is a legend, he added a real edge to the original. This was more like a Super Hero type vibe.

    Terrible
