It's interesting that you had a hearthstone in the Beta version. You don't get one in the released version until after you've gone to see King Wrynn in Stormwind or Thrall in Orgrimmar and have visited an inn.

At the time it was labeled as a scourgestone (since you were working with the scourge... I guess), but yea, It was removed due to the two final quests getting you straight to one of the major cities. you just needed to go to the inn after the quest and pick one up.

Aggro is short for aggravation or aggressiveness (something like that). It's a bit hard to explain, so bear with me.

Let's say aggro is an invisible number that goes up as your cast/attack. Certain spells and attacks generate more aggro, some less. The more aggro points you accumulate against your target, the likelier it is going to turn and attack you rather than someone else who's also attacking it. That's why tank classes need to constantly generate threat.

Hope that clears it up.

PvP servers are just elitist jerks running around in low level places killing everyone.

I play on a PVP server; I've also played regular servers. PVP servers are harder to play since you can get attacked by enemy players so you're in a constant threat state. However, PVP servers are usually much more exciting since large horde/alliance confrontations occur constantly.

If you're new to the whole MMO genre, I'd try a normal server first.

Keep in mind that WOTLK will not let you create a Death Knight until one of your characters hits level 55.

Dude there has not been a single large scale PvP encounter since TBC started and outland PvP was started, Outdoor PvP if you can call it that consists mainly of level 70s killing 1-50s while they'r leveling.

To be honest it was an accident. I figured out that I was still holding the persuaders after I cut off. I was getting attacked and I tried using my rune based attacks and realizing they weren't working. XD

Each quest has to be completed, as it is part of the main stuff. it isn't optional because each quest gives you the talent points you needed to gain from lvls 9-55.

The only one that is probably considered optional was the cauldron quest but I'm not entirely sure.
