In the World Cup 2003 final Ponting made 140 which helped Australia to 359. I remember watching it and Aust crused India by around 130 runs. Ponting has won 3 cricket world cups in ODI and was part of the 2 record runs in tests. When you retire you will be judged by your achievements and Ponting and Australia have many! Unfortunately Tendulkar and India don't have many which is sad for a nation that is cricket mad and cricket is the number 1 sport.
