Excellent bit of playing there, and the tune is well known, in Ireland anyway, as St Annes Reel...................

@shteamroller Its known that much in Ireland? Interresting. This St-Anne's reel is viewed in Canada as the quint-essential Acadian reel. they say it originates from the Acadian New Brunswick fishing village of Baie-St-Anne. Supposedly the oldest reccording of this song is by a guy named Joseph Allard.

Have you ever played at Benny's Bluegrass in Tavistock?

Every year second weekend of July biggest crowd, they all come up from U.S. its great and every one plays with people they have never played with before. People start piling in on Thursday. Its great different little bands play at different camp fire's and on Sat they have battle of the bands
