pitbull's that hurt people they put to sleep so what is wrong with slaughtering bad horses when you put a animal to sleep it is harder to watch than killing one with a gun american horses are still slaughtered everyone complans about jobs leaveing why close a 40 million dollar industry i am suprized it clozed honestly it was a 30 year fight in my opinion it will start back up horses suffer bacause of the ban they are not took care of or fed and just live a terrible life they would be better dead
I used to drive past the plant on a weekly basis. I would always see horses in the pens and never once did it occure to me that it was a slaughter house until i saw this video.

im not sure exactly when it happened, but he plant featured is gone. the pens have been torn down and the land is now up for sale. the building still stands and who knows what is still inside.
Until Americans put a stop to Horse auctions then we wont have these beautiful animals put to death... Americans have pretty much taken down the PMU industry now we can take down these horrible auctions.
Side note, sense this video was posted, the act(law) passed and it is now against the law(federal) to slaughter horses for human food. Something I think we all need to be concerned about is the fact that the president (W. Bush) has ordered the capture of thousands of horses a year from the wild, more than double that of past presidents, and it is creating a situation of desperation for the BLM. The BLM cannot get rid of the horses fast enough.
aww!!!! :'( *throws tissue in bin* so sad I seriously started crying! as you can see horses are three of my favorite things in life - number one to be exact (that's why it's first). I will go to those people hang them by one leg when they're conscious and then slit their throats and let them bleed to death! let them get a little bit of their own medicine!
Horrible conditions!We actually did a thing on the conditions of pigs and hens slaughter houses'-sick people.Vegetarians rock!

I'm working toward being vegan because of the exessesive land use to farm food that feeds livestock, let alone the land wasted raising them. These videos are helping in my resolve not to use animals for food when not necessary.
i went to a horse sales in england and bought a pony for only £200 she was going for meat, but i fed her up and now she is an amazing little friend for my other horses!
too many great horses with possible futures are sent to these places, their are so many there with light in their eyes ready to be youre partner. It is so sad :-(
