Whales and dolphins probably are sentient. They probably know we humans are too. Mutual respect means no need to fear or even consume eachother. Then again, Orcas eat other whales. Can't let such a good meal pass when the family is hungry XD

i think the killer wales are after blubber when they unt i think eating that fat kepps them warm and we humans are skinny boney mammels so i dont think they would fancy eating us unless provoked of invading territory

hobatu and moulinyan, youre both wrong...but hobatu you really have no clue what your talking about. haha bubblerings has a very good point. Also orcas are specialist hunters and will not attack anything foreign to their hunting traditions unless they feel threatened...or are extremly desperate. ( which may happen soon with the residents with the rapis decrease in salmon population.)

of course they communicate, but there is no chance they think we're dangerous when in the water like that, it's a killer fucking whale which is capable of eating sharks and bigger whales, we're a worse meal than a medium sized fish, i guess it's realised the easier to catch, the worse it tastes.

maybe they realised we have no fucking meat on our bodys and over 200 bones, so the 1000's of tasty fish which is fun for them to catch is more appetising?
