you are the ugliest woman I have ever seen. Your eyes bulge out of your head like a strange fish, your nose is way to wide and large for your face. The ugliest part is the bottom half of your face. I can't even begin to describe what is wrong with it. Put this all together and you look hideous. This is not a race issue. Your just ugly. Also your face is highly asymmetrical.
I used to go to a church who the pastor was married to a black woman, and he was white, and it was funny because the church was completely diversed, both black and white.

Can the dude talk w/o all the gay mannerism? Not for nothing, but it's uncomfortable to watch him swishing around. A lot of bi-racial dudes seem to turn out gay for some reason.
This guy is so full of shit, it's not even funny, you can tell he's bullshitting his way through this, hence all the edit-ing.
As a further point, one of the difficult things to establish sometimes in inter-racial relationships and marriages is where the race aspect of any problems that there are between them or they come across and how much of it might be about other things, for example my parents split before I was born but for some to think that it was just because one was black and one was white would be far too simple, that was part of it but not all of it, racism or not relationships are very complex.
Just two different cultures. Thats IT! Two people, in love, from two different cultures, that simple. Love the video...Thanks! ~Peace to the Human Race

I also think this is a great suggestion, it would be cool to really seek out their opinions about where they think biracial people stand in the race line.
do you think they'd be comfortable being honest with me if they have a negative view of biracial people? i feel like a monoracial black person might get more honest answers.

This reminds me of my own story. My dad is black/Cherokee Indian and my mom is white. My grandfather basically disowned my mom because she was dating my father. Which trickled down to my brother and I--my grandfather wouldn't acknowledge us at all. It was truely a shame that he couldn't see past the color of my father's skin(I guess it was because he grew up in Mississippi). My grandmother was always in our life(she was born and raised here in Saint Louis).

I've been wondering when you stop being mixed. I'm not first generation mixed so I usually just say I'm black to keep it simple since I'm dark enough (also not wanting to be considered a fraud or a wannabe). One of these day I'm going to do my own video on the issue.

it's funny because I could relate to what he was saying about having to go back and forth between groups of friends. Except with me it was my straight/mainstream friends and my queer/outsider friends. And I'm definitely a blend of both and fit in on both sides... and it relates to outward appearance as well because I'd go from blending and being the typical girl-next-door to the gothy punk who scared old people haha :)

make sure you're hair is jacked up in the play ....i'm being so mean to my mom haha.
that's so interesting his black family had a problem with the relationship of his parents. People do ignore that. Both sides of my family had no problem with parents, but growing up black people had the most problems with me :( But those were just stupid individuals. Black people as a whole I think the most open minded to interracial relationships.
i think u should do an interview with someone who is young, like.....still in high school/college..cuze ppl say that we've made so much progress in the past years. and I beg to differ. lol cuze ppl who were in middle school ( 30 years ago)....are still facing the same struggles 30 years later. good interview tho!
so wat else is new

Wow, that is a shame. His loss. Did he and your grandmother divorce, or did she simply insist on being in your lives with or without him?
