anyways, Yao and T-MAC only had one season where both were healthy for basically the entire season, and that was T-MAC's first year playing with Yao on the Rockets, so you couldn't expect much. From then on both got plagued with enough injuries that it's hard to expect much else.

Even Shaq/Kobe took a bit of time to gel and get their rings.

Also, it's hard to compare two players, especially in the NBA.

I do get your point but great players often have to lead garbage players... Look at LeBron's run to the Finals: The beste players on his team were Boobie Gibson and Drew Gooden whereas T-Mac had Alston and Yao on his team, which is a huge difference. A great player is able to lead his team, and T-Mac isn't , wasn't and will never be a leader... just a temoprarily awesome scorer.

His PER and stats and efficiency all go up during the playoffs whereas yao, rafer and most of his teammates perform shittier. Just like LeBrons squad faltered the last two years. they are pretty much the same player except lebrons too huge to ever get injured.
