  • @pouyan242

    Okaayyyyy....

    1:48.

    So what?

    Your favourite time of day?

Your height in feet or meters?!

    >;P

  • I never said Cuba was a bad place geographically or was full of bad people my point was that no one in their right mind would go to Iran for skiing, its called perspective. The issue with Cuba is the ruling elite have a stranglehold on the poor and there is NO OPPORTUNITY for anyone who is not a party official to succeed.

Not to mention the lack of basic freedoms or human rights.

Ever wonder why most of the intelligent people left Cuba years ago for America?

  • It's not necessarily the elite's there that don't let the poor suceed, it's the elites' here. Cuba was a virtual colony of America under the oppressive US-backed Batista regime, so when Castro overthrew him America placed and embargo, so their main source of trade was gone. America would enforce other countries to follow the same policy through sanctions. So it's not Castro's fault their poor.

  • tv and politics is a smoke screen. more than most people around the world just go to work and love the familes. all this bullshit about politics and whos gonna kill u is scare tactics. its time for the people to wake up ! FUCK BUSH FUCK obama ! they all fuckin lying fucks who want nothin more than CONTROL ! and no politician ya friend ! You a number to them, thats it ! FUCK EACH AND EVERY MOTHA FUCKA THAT WANTS TO CONTROL MY FAMILY AN FRIENDS !

  • What's Johnny Rotten's take on it? I think Glenn Danzig is writing a series of reference books on it. If only Sid Vicious were around to comment.

  • I could watch Henry Rollins clips for days, the guys a fucking awesome!!

  • Expecially at the end what Henry says spells a lot.

  • If thats what you think muslims are saying you obviously don't know any. Most people around the world are just like you and me, there just living their lives from today to tomorrow regardless of religion.

  • Bluestrapsify your a fucking idiot

  • Black Flag was better BEFORE Rollins.

Hank is a douche, stick to shitty music for angry neo-Marxist tools, leave complex things like geopolitics to the educated.

Europeans go to Iran for the skiing? LOL thats like saying Hawaiians go to Cuba for the surfing, what an IDIOT!

  • ah, they do go for the skiing..its a fact. Maybe not better than the alps but plenty of people do it. Partly for the skiing partly for the experience.

  • @espada9

A friend of mine went to cuba with his girlfriend last year. Had wonderful holidays. Didn't go surfing, however he met many of the locals, smoked some great cigars, had an awesome time. I think they even did some scuba diving.

  • oh henry, youre such a smart sexy man.

  • this guy is very interesting.

  • this is great, henry is very cool, word up!!!

    very informative too

  • living in the uk,i'm not familiar with henry rollins(sorry)-he seems like he's an intelligent ,articulate guy.Great interview!

  • man u never heard of black flag??

  • that's right it is always the elite that ask or tell the non elite to die for some made up BS. always!

  • look its international studies 101, one tactic states use is scapegoating and stereotypying, the US has used it against many states who they claimed to be threat to national security, take Japan in WW2, the US viewed them as monkeys or guerillas who want to crush the US, however at the end of the war who proved to be more dangerous. to further prove the US exaggeration, the majority of the european continent deems the US a threat to world peace not Iran not Al-Qaeda,

  • Rollins here seems to sortof simplify the scenario a bit. It's not Bush that simply wants to invaide Iran and kill Iranians. There is the other idiot in the equation, and if we gotta go, we gotta go. Its tragic ANYTIME civilians get caught between this thing, nobody wants war happening on them especially. I just hope that someday Iran can get back to the way it was pre-carter.

  • We gotta go, so we gotta go? what kind of bullshit reasoning is that. Your one of those batshit crazy Americans who voted for Bush.

  • Facing danger? where? Your just a brainwashed corporate sponsor. Wake up!

  • Socialists? Living in Iran? wtf are you talking about?

I don't live in Iran, nor do I believe I should send my countrymen there to kill Iranians. Thats just stupid. Imagine some superpower interfering in your civil war and helping the south. Fact is Americans don't know the history, about any region to invade and dictate to them what they should do.

Your the socialist one my friend. YOU do not let the enemy chose the battleground. Invading would disregard all successful war tactics.

  • No you should let Iran be, when they come to your doorstep then take action. Just cause they are supplying power to their people and improving their technologies is no reason for the US to interfere. Russia has nukes too, invading won't rid of them, nor will it work in Iran (when they do have them).

  • europe is mostly socialist u idiot. but that doesnt make us kommunists. we believe that anyone rich poor should have equal rights but americans are not much for that you know freedom and stuff like that. but we have rights human rights

  • both you guys seem like idiots. all governments suck.. america's "freedom" is fading away.. idk about europe. im american.

  • Did you meet Bush?

  • This guy is my fucking hero.

  • Henry's your, "fucking hero"?

I think you've got him confused.

    He's never done any porn...

    >;P

  • Critical thinking, why does this seem so alien to you Americans? This guy is a hero.

  • Nice. It's nice to know the rest of the world is apparently completely absent of stupid people. No, they all reside in America. God I hate this mentality. Europeans are handing their balls over to the EU, don't tell me Americans are any worse.

  • Who?

  • Rollins

  • Why would you say that? Arrogant cuz he's proud of himself to call it like it is?

I don't think that's arrogance, considering the state of most American celebrities and media cowering or pushing the White house propaganda.

And considering them and the state of Amerika, they need MORE of this kinda arrogance.

  • hes actually pretty smart

  • this guys still around great classic guy

  • When was this

  • about 5 months before I posted it

  • Henry is and always will be the man.

  • "Personal experience". what a great character Henry is

  • rollins is great. thanks for this vid.

    PEACE

  • Militant Islam is a conflict that doesn't allow you a choice. It's here whether you wish it or not. If you care at all about the lives of the downtrodden and abused under a brutal theocracy, you cannot possibly decline the chance to rid the world of the worst kind of totalitarianism and fascism. Orwell knew it, now Hitchens is spreading the word. The Left (where I stand) has to realise what principles it really stands for nowadays, and not defend the rights of dictators like Ahmedenijdad.

  • Is Iran messed up? Yes. Is it a reactionary theocracy? Yes. That notwithstanding, a US imperialist invasion is not the answer to Iran's problems. You want another Iraq?

  • First off, the UN are only looking out for themselves. Secondly, militant islamists are of little threat to us. We have a good defense, but neocons want you to believe otherwise.

Thirdly, it would be much easier for foreign invaders to come in when the American economy finally collapses due to the massive spending and printing of money by our government.

Fourthly, it has been heavily suggested that the 9-11 attacks were an inside job in order to scare Americans into supporting the neocon agenda.

  • 911 was not an inside job, dozens of GLOBAL studies and research was done and has conclusively shown that the events on 911 were as advertised. Tough shit if you don't agree with that, but thats reality. People can't handle the idea that some nutjobs could come in here and ruin our shit. Well they did. Thats what complacency and stupidity does to a nation. Never under-estimate the enemy, whoever they may be. Radical islam is dangerous.

user/RKOwens4 - this guy has some good videos on the subject (some posted above)

Also google "German Scientists Debunk inside job" They did a 3D representation of the pentagon using realistic physics to show what may have truly happend to create the hole in the pentagon.

  • I just watched Christopher Hitchens at AAI advocating war in Iran ( I usually respect Hitchens but no here). I heard Rollins talk about his Iran experiences in February and it sounded way different. I had to come listen to this again. It's like going from a freezing plunge pool into a warm shower. The government does sound fucked but bombing the shit out of the civilians isn't the way to sort it out.

  • Nearly HALF that watch this don't clik on the link above.

If you like this clip, there's a 2nd half to this interview!

  • Thanks for the post!!!!

  • well said henry. really enjoyed that

  • This guy is great. I wish there were more Americans like him.

  • Rollins is a good lad. UK respects.

  • I love the HOUR, its on at like 5 am here in the states, but its usually worth the watch, especially here.

  • It's somewhat confusing reading over the old comments, since it seems like some of them were deleted or something. IE, I can't find a single comment from ResistandDefy. As far as musicians making their politics known to the public, I have no problem with that. If I don't agree with their politics I seperate it from their music. I agree with Henry, and I think he's an intelligent man. If he supported hte Republican party and Bush, I'd still listen to his music CDs, but not the others.

  • Thank you Henry!

  • Rollins=Hero

  • I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it. Freedom of speech has to be limitless. It's an all or nothing proposition. If limits are going to be put on that right, then who decides what those limits are?

  • If only henry rollins was president of the US.

  • Voltaire...quite a guy. Good choice for quotation, lindseyf... -Graham

  • Ron Paul 2008!

  • deep political thinker? you don't have to be a genius to know our president is a moron.

  • Brother, your preferred political leaders deserve nothing but disdain. You're just gonna have to eat the words right now.

  • I voted for Bush. I greatly regret it. Thanks to his administration, we've lost 9 of our 10 bill of rights. If you still support bush, you should read a book.

  • REalx...?

    You're serious?

You'd give this fuktard 13 more months based on what Cheney and him have done in the last 83?!

That's why those in Amerika, and by extension, those of us in the actual "free" world are fukt:

"uhhrr ...it's too much hassle to try DO something, 'sides..there's good shit on tv.....'

    fukt.

  • yes, like the next candidates are healthy for Iran and the Middle-east. LMAO

  • he's right a year or even a month is too fucking long, no one is pissed anymore. Wake up or Ill come to your house and steal your Prozac

  • Kaka. The ranks of those awakening swells by the day. Your right that people aren't pissed anymore. People are enraged.

  • Go to Penn Station at 8 am any day of the week. I see nothing but apathetic selfishness in the hub of the world.

  • Its not like he can't get us blown up in 13 months.

  • cool guy, good on him

  • No, you said he had to shut up. I'm saying he can speak as much as he wants ... he's an American right? Isn't America supposed to be the country where you can say or think whatever you want? What about freedom? They're just words, people can decide for themselves if they like the guy's ideas or not. You can't tell him to shut just because he's a singer with some political ideas ... I mean, look at Tom Morello ... he's graduated 'a cum laude' at Harvard ...

  • I never said he was 'a deep political thinker' ... we weren't discussing about that. We were talking about the fact he should speak his mind or should he just shut up and say whatever the record company wants him to say so he would sell more records.

I think he makes a lot of sense, way mroe sense than the current president. A lot of people agree with him, so if you don't like that, I think that's your problem. You have the right to dislike his ideaes tough.

  • Saying "because his opnion is shit" is an opninion on itself, you idiot.

    Go Henry.

  • Well, you're not making sense at all man! The guy was speaking his mind ... if he were a mailman or a manager or a singer ... it doesn't matter ... he has right on his own opinion ... wether you or his fans like it or not ... Way to go Henry!

  • Why? Because his opinion makes sense?

  • You don't have to suspect, I do because he's correct. If anyone walked up to me, that had bought any of our albums and said: "I don't like you anymore! You made fun of a megalomaniac's, stuttering, war mongering, and retarded ass so I don't like you or your music, I'd say:

"Amen! Fuck off back to public school, recess is up." I wouldn't miss a "fan" like that, doubt HR would either.

  • Why would an artist care if he loses a "Fan" who abandon him/her for exercising their right to speak their mind and try to shed light on the evil of an individual or institution?

Should firemen be allowed, by you, to have this glorious right? Burger flippers? Lawyers? Teachers?

Bakers? Why does an artist have to silence what they believe and are passionate about?

  • That makes no sense

  • Why? Once you have one interest or profession, that's it?

What do you now? Hope you enjoy it cuz by your statement, you gotta stick with it till you drop.

  • Contrary to popular belief not all right-wingers are racist trouser stains like ResistandDefy. But when we disagree with a policy that favors one race over the other we are hence branded as racist when said policies actually have racist implications. I dont know what he said and i dont care. Just please dont be guilty of the same stereotyping that schmuck exhibits or you become as bad as he is.

  • We are all members of the HUMAN race after all.

  • Do you find every Henry Rollins video and post this comment? You made this same comment on the "This Is How I Protest the War" video.

  • Dude, people cope with things diffirently, you cope with them by making fun of inteligent people who care about humanity, he copes with things by caring about freedom.

  • Transport vehicle? What's that? The shuttlecraft "Galieo"?

  • I wonder if THIS section -'resist+defy' of Uhmerika will ever quit themselves of their weakness and need for authoritarian leadership which breeds such hatred and contempt of opposing, (and correct), viewpoints.

  • I think whats going on with ResistandDefy is some kind of repressed homosexuality mixed with deeply ingrained racism, where rollins is the focus of most of his fantasies and so on.

  • Seriously man, can't you tell.

He was raised in a head to toe white outfit with a pointy headpiece and weekly "kneeling sessions" with the sacred Clan goats.

Obviously he's gonna be fukt up, racist, and a Right Wing-nut.

  • Im thinking that ResistandDefy grew up secretly gay in an oppresive racist household, then discovered punk/Rollins as a means of escape. He fell in love with rollins' muscles and short hair, and has since been trying to reconcile his gay racist fantasies with reality via youtube

  • Yah, that's also an option, more likely. But I prefer my postulation for it's truthiness rooted in the rich history of the inbred back waters of US and A.

    ;P

  • yet its allabout "terrorism" no, it realy isnt - theres more to life then jus the "war on terror"

  • Duh! Yes, there's more to life than the war on terror. I never wrote there wasn't. But it isn't something to ignore, lest you want some more subway bombings in the London tube.

  • oh god you want me to list you the patriot act one and two with the military comissions act aswell?? seariously? read it your self i do not feel like sourcing it for you - look it up on wikapedia or go to the official goverment site im shure you will find what im talking about if u use your iniative and source it your self, you sound intelligent enough

  • "you want me to list you the patriot act one and two with the military comissions act aswell??"

No, just the parts which read "and ye shall destroy the civil rights of all citizens, just cause we say we can. Thusly!"

  • the fees are going to bankrupt all the small players in an attempt to gain power back, di . fm will be gone but pandora . com will be able to survive due to it being so dynamic - thus people like my self attempt to raise awareness about these issues - the small guys getting squased and the companies dominating the market, thats corperate america for you... why its either our health care system, clear view, or some sorta patriot act...

  • The RIAA doesn't want "power back," it just wants their cut of the money. If they bankrupt it all, there's no money, and they know it. So unless you own a net radio company, then stop crying. And your examples of stations means what? Survival of the fittest? That's called a "free market economy."

  • wtf is happening to america - u seen europe? i live there aswell n we got no problems-america jus seems to attract so many fucking dooche bags who cant keep their fuckin hands out our pockets

  • Europe has no problems? You mean from terrorism? Please, do I need to list them for you? Europe's mishandling of the terrorist problem is why WE now have the problem. And yes, when you're the biggest block around, everyone wants a piece of you. Again, that's a free market economy.

  • well u know, in the uk im able to go out, and have a laugh, dont need to drive every where, dont need to be 21 to drink, dont have a fool representing my country, were auctually part of the kyoto agreement - we dont have to fight to save our net radio, or even from the net being privatised in the first place, and were not always waging some "war on drugs" "war on terror" theres always a war on something

  • In the US I'm able to go out, have a laugh, drive my car, 21 to drink is smart, and have a man of conscious as President, I'm a free man not a "royal subject," being a member of Kyoto treaty isn't mandatory, and net radio will survive ON ITS OWN (not our govt's job to "save net radio"), and the net isn't govt owned OR privatized, ITS THE INTERNET. And Europeans don't care about helping others or defending themselves because WE do it all for them.

  • noguff, you need to take it down a notch. if you have been paying attention to what is going on around you you would see your country's sovereign status is being slaughtered by the SPP and eventually the NAU. And do you know about the specs of the patriot act and the doings of the nsa?

  • smoke - This nation's sovereignty is being eroded daily by the pro-open borders lobby. The SPP&NAU, as I understand them, are mainly trade agreements with security concerns built in to counter the European Union trading block. I don't mind Canada or Mexico joining the US so long as its the USA not some other new nation. How do you know anything about our NSA when you don't even live within 2000 miles of it?

  • i know about the nsa's doings because i have been reading up about it on it's own site.

the nau is going to erase the borders and everybody (mainly mexicans) will be roaming across the nau. no border, means no sovereignty. like in the goddam eu. i should know, all the fukkin foreigners here are swamping us.

  • our public transportation rules, our health care system is free and rules, if your a student then you get free dental, college is free, university leaves tou with ten grand debt total compaired to $60,000 and some times more - yet you sti lsupport capitilism or the freemarket - where is it getting us?

  • We have public trans, but it isn't forced on us like in London (fee for driving your car???), and your health care system is wanting. And you're citing the great dental system of England? BWA-hahahahaha!! Just go open the horrid "book of British smiles." College isn't a right its a priviledge, and my tuition fees at university totalled about $5K in '91. Cap/free markets create competition, which is good for the marketplace and the consumer/patient.

  • im getting some sleep - ill find the information source it and send u it in a message 2moro, trust me ill find it an it wont be ani "propaganda"

  • it starts with net radio where will it end? clear view already own all terrestial radio, the cinemas, now they want to make a manoply of net radio? once they get there foot in the door wheres it gonna go from there

  • You mean Clear Channel? I don't know anything about it "owning" net radio. Companies own their radio broadcasts, & therefore own the rights to distribute their radio broadcasts on the net. No one else. And yes, CC owns a lot of stations. Thank Al Gore for that (Comm Act of 1996). But people tire of corporate radio (again) & CC will start selling it all off, & there'll be happiness again. Never heard about CC owning cinemas. So get rid of that half-assed propaganda. You sound smarter than that.

  • dude, clear view own a huge percentage of cinemas, in my area all the cinemas were bought by clear view a few years back, and i didnt say cc own net radio, there just going to attempt to make a manolapy outta it, 'The Recording Industry of America (RIAA), the trade group that represents the recording industry's largest record companies, proposed increased rates earlier this year for Internet radio stations. These fees do not apply to broadcast (terrestrial) or satellite radio'

  • Well, I don't know anything about a co called "Clear View." These corporate owners come and go. Plus there's never been any law stating how many theaters a chain could own. And I think the RIAA didn't realize net radio would end up doing business. It took a while, but now they want their share just like broadcast, doubtful its a higher rate. BTW, net "radio" isn't radio, it's an internet distribution, so broadcast laws don't apply. This is a matter between private companies.

  • my emails able to be spyed on, my phone tapped, F.E.M.A able to come into my house and take me away without trial is also under the patriot act

internet radio from july 15 will die, yet another fact which i bet u dont know about savenetradio . org savetheinternet . com visit these sites please

  • and please do not focus on my typos as a basis of your arguement - you know, that paragraph i just typed is acting against the patriot act?! my brother, how can you not relise how wrong that is, my self born in america has to watch what he says when aparently we have "free speach" / rest in peace: habeas corpus.

  • toke - I never wrote anything about your typos. And where in the Patriot Act does it say you need to watch what you write? Of course, free speech as afforded by the BOR doesn't give you the right to say just anything you want. There's libel/slander, incitement to riot, conspiracy to commit a crime, threats, and thanks to the Left and their Thought Police and NewSpeak we have "hate speech." So again, what was that about the Patriot Act?

  • and the comment about the typo? well my comment was a pre emptave strike due to people pouncing on you metaphorically for not spelling perfectially - sorry for accusing you dude

  • NoGuff you'rte ignorant, him choosing his material isnt hypocriticle. It's like a white comedian not telling black jokes in the Apollo, i think its called manners.

  • oliver - What a typical Liberal. Your message, and you, assumes all White people are racist. You're an idiot and a racist yourself.

  • Ah the ever tolerant, open minded. mature, and adult rejoinders of the right winger, so constructive. And easy to converse with! Reminds me of standing up in front of a room full of 16 year old high school know it alls: the feeling of futility:

"What a typical Liberal. Your message, and you, assumes all White people are racist. You're an idiot and a racist yourself."

Guess considering the #1 right wingut is on a crusade to kill language tho.....

  • rook - I'm "killing language?" What does that even mean? And yes, that guy was assuming all White people were racist, it was the basis of his point. Go read it again. And you still haven't given me anything that could or should counter my assertion that Rollins doesn't spew his Conservative-hating messages at his USO concerts. Just more of your Conservative bashing nonsense.

  • rook - I'm "killing language?

Didn't realize you were #1 duder.

I was taking about the alcohol soaked, draft dodging, coke snorting, drunk driving, war mongering, fear mongering, lying, murderous, piece of shit that the Fla Supreme Court annointed. Y'know who I'm referring to now?

    ;)

  • Well, as far as draft-dodging, lying, piece of shit, I'm guessing you're talking about either Bill or Hillary Clinton. But please correct me if I'm wrong.

    And again...I'm "killing language?" WTF?

  • No, all those attribute, sadly AND factually, belong to the Frat Boy in Chief.

    Again:

Guess considering the #1 right wingut is on a crusade to kill language

    as in BUSH.

As for lying, please. Bill lied about getting a blow job, which we'd never learned about if the right hadn't been willing to blow $630+ MILLION to make it a big deal. Bush on the other hand, spends $60 mil on 9-11 report and won't testify under oath, on the record, and without Darth at his side.....talk about lying...hell!

  • Again with this "kill language" thing. WTF are you talking about? Are just trying to make up a catch phrase for yourself, like "hellacool?" Please stop it, its annoying.

And a BJ is the ONLY thing Clinton lied about? His admin was riddled with scandles throught his entire term. Most of it was also tied to Hillary, actually. You see what you want to see, friend.

  • every time i see something political that has a serious and critical point theres always some one intelligently arguing for the right wing - the magnitude of people defending bush is astounding... never have i seen so many vengfully support genocide and privitasion (e.g blackwater contractors in iraq) and the green zone aka heliburton land... wtf

  • "the magnitude of people defending bush is astounding"

--That's because the majority of people haven't succumbed to propaganda and hate.

"support genocide and privitasion (e.g blackwater contractors in iraq) and the green zone aka heliburton land"

--Support genocide? PLEASE! That's so off the deep end of crazy! And RE: Haliburton contracts, Clinton Admin regularly made no-bid contracts, incl. with Haliburton. Stop with the propaganda.

  • blackwaterusa. com - visit it, its intresting also people like your self dont seem to realize that people like my self arnt into left right or hat eva propaganda, were into the preservation of america, things raising awareness of the destruction of the constutional rights and stopping the INTERNET being privatised - man i love our troops, i love my people, i HATE forign privat investors that have pearts of america by the balls, wasting our recources and taking OUR rights away

  • toke - Which of your rights has been "destroyed?" And the net isn't govt owned or private owned. The govt has an agency which coordinates things to keep some sort of order (like the FCC and broadcast frequencies). The govt doesn't have some central server system that is THE net, private co's and people have servers also. This interconnectivity IS THE NET. The govt isn't going to "sell" the net to Rupert Murdoch. Propaganda.

  • first off, please labling what i have to say as propaganda, secondly last june push by the major service providers nearly privatised the internet(us based), im not pullin fictional mabys outta my ass, this nearly happened luckly around 1.7 million people opposed this move and thus we still have net freedom in the states

  • *first off please dont label*

  • toke - Foreign private investing in the USA (Japanese/British/Dutch ownership of property) sucks! But that's the free market economy we built. Personally I'd love it if we made it illegal, and closed the borders to all but the most desirable people (scientists, etc.) instead of uneducated, low wage laborers. Which is better for America? But the Left would never allow any of that.

  • you dont realise how many people like myself, henry rollins and john stewart(on comedy central-big up to steven colbert) think bush is an insult to the founding fathers, our troops in iraq, patriotic americans and everything we have ever fought for!

  • Please, if you're going to pull out Rollins & Stewart, I'm going to pull out Ted Nugent & Dennis Miller. Bush isn't an insult to our Founding Fathers, he believes in America, wants to protect America where others don't, believes in our sovereignty where others like Kerry & Kennedy don't, etc. Freedom, democracy, and stability in Iraq is vital to our national security & economy. Anyone who thinks otherwise is blinded by their hatred of George Bush, or is a Kerry/Kennedy type idiot.

  • So when Henry goes on USO tours to military bases does he spew his hatred of George Bush and the war on terror and Conservatives during his shows? I bet not. That's being a hypocrite, though.

  • So you label him a hypocrite based on an ASUUMPUTION you've made? How right wing, keep it in the dark, of you!

  • rook - Prove me wrong. That's all you have to do.

Knowing that I'm right, yet pretending I'm wrong, how Left Wing lie-through-your-teeth of you.

  • WHY do I have to prove your negative, and totally unsurprising, assumption wrong?! I've been given no reason by this individual, ever, that he wouldn't have the balls or integrity to bring that up, in a way that wouldn't depress them, unless he's muzzled by the Bush Gov't hacks.

"Knowing that I'm right:" and how do I KNOW you're right?!

    Your classic, right wingnut:

"I think it therefore it am.", mentality doesn't apply in the rational world Rimsfeld....

  • Yes, I do know I'm right, because if he did say the stuff at his USO appearances that he says on the show, he wouldn't be asked back. SO, he keeps his mouth shut, doesn't he? He must be. We'd also probably hear about it from him on the show. So its my assumption, based on all of that, that he keeps his hypocrite mouth shut, thereby not living by his convictions. Again, prove me wrong, put up a video of him saying that shit to the soldiers at a USO event.

  • "Yes, I do know I'm right, because....So its my assumption...."So what now, you're just TRYING to prove me right, that you've got the standard right wingnut skillz of debate, the same one all these fekking creationist cavemen follow?!

'I believe it to be so, my faith sez it's so, that's all I need to know.'

    Ignorance is hardly bliss

  • rook - You're right, I don't know for fact that Rollins doesn't spew his Conservaive-hating views on the soldiers. I don't know for a fact that he goes to USO events and doesn't come on stage and tell the soldiers their president is Hitler, and they are terrorists, and they're rounding up civilians and murdering them for oil profits, etc. But I'd bet I'm right nonetheless.

  • I don't think he HATES conservatives, based on what I've read or seen. THAT, making everything a personal attack, seems to be the pervue of the right-not sure why. He HATES what many on the right SUPPPORT + the kind of harm + evil that is done to folks, just as I do,with the exception of the really EVIL fux like Cheney, Bush, Rimsfeld, Pearle, Wolfowitz, Kristol etc. Guff, as a World AND US/Canada BA scholar, the comparisons to Hitler with Bush, are sadly fekking accurate.

  • rook - Anyone could make the same comparisons to Hitler out of anybody. FDR, Truman, TR, hell even Lincoln. All I need is some archive footage, some clever graphics, some very accusatory and unsubstantiated "facts," and a huge chip on my shoulder, I'll cut together something that could make Mother Theresa look like Darth Vader. Give me a break!

  • Rook - There is no censorship in America. Controlling the content of what your company distributes into the marketplace isn't censorship.

  • Rollins is alright.....cool interview.

  • Here in Finland,we are building 2 nuclear plants. Why isn't anyone trying to stop us?

  • Low amount of skin pigment?

  • Hehe,heheh.Great respond!:)

  • Because Finland doesn't have a radical Islamic Holocaust-denier as its president. I understand what you're saying, but one can't fairly compare the Finnish government to those running the states of Iran or North Korea.

I don't think it has anything to with Iranians being darker-skinned. People in the Soviet Union had light skin, too.

  • I fully agree with you.

  • I don't either, it was a joke. Pakistan and India got nukes obviously.

I don't think Iran having Nukes is cool at all. But when you consider that Kim II HAS the nuke and is testing the fukker, why isn't King George actually invading N.K instead of threatening Iran and actually invading Iraq? Cuz he knows in the latter 2 cases, they DON'T havvit, therfore: safer war

  • That is true.Pakistan and India got nuclear weapons too easily.I don't think even UN protested them.

North Korea vs. rest of the world is right now a "diplomatic" war.Iran is more trickier, because anyone doesn't have real, concrete evidence about what they are doing.

  • Follow the money guys, who owns the Federal Reserve, what about petrodollars, inflation, etc

Chk my vid on the makers of America

  • I think there has been enough said about Iran developing nukes too, this is a scare tactic we've seen before. In fact it will be many years before Iran can build a nuke. They're not even close.

  • And you don't hear Bush Co. talking too much about invading North Korea, a country with a WAY more whacked out leader and has PROVEN ther've going for nukes.

If Bush's Amerika can attack Iraq on "belief" and are threatening Iran, why not hammer North Korea, right now?

    Cuz they can fight back.....

  • when he says "some europians go to Iran for skiing" some people laugh over there. I'm Iranian, and just wanted to say that IT WAS NOT A JOKE. There is snow and ski places in Iran, unlike the usual image of middle eastern countries, Iran is not made of desert sand.

  • I KNOW! That kinda gives you an idea of how much folks in Canada, who on average tend to be fairly aware of the world out side their borders, know of Iran. With the compromised media in USA, the people who need to reign in their dicktator, likely know far less!

Please retire, Rollins. You're old, you're washed up, and you never were nearly as funny (not at all) or insightful (mildly at best) as you thought you were.

  • hes hilarious usually and the funny thing is that he never tries to be. he is insightful. he is talented. Black flag and rollins band both rule. he is a legend

  • I don't find him funny, but he was insightful in this interview. I was just referring to his spoken word work in general.

And yes, Black Flag should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for its influence on modern music alone.

  • Not really diggin on your, "you're old" comment.

Since you're obviously the decider here, tell us at what age one is to completely withdraw and take ZERO part in life, whether it is their own, or in that of others. Just give us a number for the age at which people are "too old" to be of any account. Then write that down, keep it, see if your opnion changes when you reach that age.

  • If one is as unfunny as Rollins, he should retire from stand-up now and stick to what he's good at. That's not taking ZERO part in life at all. It's just realizing that most spoken word performances are boring, that's all.

And FYI, I emailed this opinion to Mr. Rollins and emailed me back. His response was, "Go fuck yourself and try and stop me."
