Well. It is private. It is true. But it is tru as well that if the gate is open and there is no sign "NO ENTRY" theoretically you can enter property. Now I know why nowadays the owner do not want to see any divers there.
Few years ago, one of the divers fall down from the hill (probably near the middle hole) and that punk sued the owner. After the owner has put those signs and he is very impolitely for any divers. I do not blame him. I understand him. It's just a pity. really lovely spot.
signs are continuously put up.. people tear them down. it is hard to be there every day putting up new signs. if you know it is private property what right do you have to be there. and actually the owner was never sued but whatever
Well, quincey, I generally agree with you. Privet property is privet. It is obvious, you are nit a diver. We do not ant to disturb or cause any problems for landlords. It is just abut the spot. There is really few goo dive spots in Irish midlands... This one is (in my opinion) definitely one of the best. We have good few of them in Poland, and all o them are open for divers. Believe me, they are able to pay for good dive. Regard
We were there in december 2007. Couldn't go further that time - was not enought air in tanks for my budys. We are going to go back there in January '08 and try to get deeper spot.
Heh. It is as strange as interesting. I'd say realy interesting. I am only a little bit concerning about avalibility. It is a private property and gate not always is open. Last time we had a small problem to gen there.
What certification do you need to dive here? Is a PADI Open Water enough?
