  • I like could not watch this episode because of that voice haha

  • LOL. I'd rather give credit to the one who popularized it instead of the one who created it. STEVE CARREL!!!!

  • LOL I love how she says "It's time to stop hiding"

  • "Baby hooker... that's going in my next book"

  • This is like the "When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong" version of that phrase. Most (unfunny) people hear all The Office versions, try to imitate them in real life and fail miserably. Just like her.

  • @Bahleaver What?? We should be elevating the way women are perceived in society....D'oh my period!!0.0

    ...or am I Lizzing?

  • whos the ditsy girl? ...nice tits...

  • Steve Carell would be great on 30 Rock, but how Awesome would Alec Baldwin be on The Office :OOO !

  • @smcdaid075 You just melted my mind :O

  • @smcdaid075 you beautiful genius.maybe nbc will do a crossover one day involving parks and rec as well. if there was a way to introduce my favourite, community, it would be perfect.

  • @ihnlChiv well, Donald Glover was on 30 Rock... so it's close to a crossover!

  • @chanandler14 yeah i know, he wrote werewolf bar mitzvah song and the funcooker episode with tina fey. also 30 rock says his name in the episode where they need more diversity.

  • It's funny because they were married in Date Night!

  • steve fucking carell

  • @tom91775 yeah Waynes World did start it but 9 times out of 10 its gonna be attributed to The Office and Steve Carrel because that's where most people know its from so there you go...

  • Steve Carrel does own it because the only reason it is still used anymore is because of Steve Carrel

  • No - Steve Carell does not own it - he should give credit to Mike Myers - WHO OWNS IT!!

  • @bearywine

    Wrong

  • No - Waynes World owns it. I hate it when people don't give credit where credit is due - a good warning to copyright everything that may have value because someone will steal it!

  • @bearywine Thank you!!

  • @bearywine well seeing as the only reason anyone even uses it anymore or even recognizes what it means is 99% due to Steve Carell on the office, I would say that he does own it. Wayne's World made the product and The Office bought the distribution rights so to speak. Distributor owns, always.

  • wat episode was this

  • No - Steve Carell does not own it - it was first heard on the movie "Wayne's World!"

  • @bearywine But when you say "That's what she said" people automatically think of The Office. Steve Carrel made it more popular.

  • No - Steve Carell does not onw it - it was first heard on the movie "Wayne's World"

  • My friends get so mad at me when I "that's what she said" something I said myself... BUT MICHAEL DOES IT! And so does this chick! lol

  • He does own it and yea he should be on 30 rock.

  • Somebody's never seen Wayne's World or watched one of Hitchcock's old sound tests.

  • @tom91775 The joke in its generic form dates back nearly a hundred years, but the particular phrase "that's what she said" was coined by the creators of the office when they adapted the show for American audiences. So, technically, they invented the phrase, which is much more pithy than its original form, but they did not invent the premise of the joke. That is why Steve Carell does in fact OWN "that's what she said."

  • @iMasonStone Waynes World was First.

  • @MegaBytesFTW No, it wasn't "first." The joke had been around for quite some time before it was repeated on Waynes World. And, anyway, he said "as the girl said to the soldier," not the American "that's what she said." Waynes World has no more claim to the joke than the office does.

  • Actually Mike Myers owns it. Wayne's World forever

  • @jeforrer I've been trying to tell people that for years!

  • @tom91775 She's saying he OWNS it because on Television, that's what Michael Scott is known for... people say That's What She Said and automatically think of The Office.

Again... this is Television... not court.

  • @tom91775 Dude it's called a joke it's not a serious statement needed to be proved by facts or anything. Also, I'm pretty sure that when she says he owns it, she means he was the one who brought it to popularity, not that he invented it and I don't get what you're referring to as a lame culture either...

  • What season was this?

  • So yeah... CollegeHumor brought me here.

  • @RyuuzakiiKun Same here bro

  • @RyuuzakiiKun collegehumor did not bring me here. what video are you referring to?

  • haha. Steve should be on 30 Rock. And play a love interest for LL. Period.

  • @TinaFeysAwesome Alec Baldwin is leaving 30 Rock after this season and since Steve Carrell already left The Office, I think there is a big possibility Carrell will replace Jack Donaghy as the head of NBC next year. It would be more awesome if he had connection with Michael Scott, like Phoebe from Friends had connection with Ursula from Mad About You.

  • @dolokpurba I heard in an interview with Carrell that the reason he left The Office was because he wanted to spend more time with his kids, and doing a TV show was taking up all his time. So I doubt he would take on 30 Rock. Unless he has changed his mind?

  • @chanandler14 oh thats what everybody says when they dont get a pay raise in the past two yrs.

  • @chanandler14 he bailed out at the peak of the show instead of riding it all the way down to the bottom. thats what every good actor does

  • @TinaFeysAwesome Ya, a guest appearance would be fun!

  • @TinaFeysAwesome liz lemon: *chuckle chuckle* period.....

  • @TinaFeysAwesome holy fucking shitballs you are so right

  • @TinaFeysAwesome Hehehe.. You said period.

  • @TinaFeysAwesome lol that's how Date Night was created!! XD
