  • you need the Piston Omega Rail Large Diameter.

  • Will this rail fit on a Stag Arms Model 8L?

  • Rock solid fit on my bushmaster 6.8 ,with the pws piston kit.

  • i have the omega 7.0 rail system on my carbine. the install was easy and the rail system is ROCK SOLID. i run optics on it, visible and infrared lasers and they maintain zero.

  • do you guys sell screw kits for the omega rail 7,0? i mean all of them as i know eventually i will lose one or two.

  • I have a 20" bushmaster hbar upper, and thinking of getting the rifle length one. I'm worried about it looking weird though, since it's a lot of rail on a rifle length upper.

  • what material is it made of?

  • these all quad rails are expensive what is so special about it ??

  • can the OMEGA X RAIL 12.0 FSP be made to fit on an LWRC M6A1?

  • installation was flawless and performance is immaculate. thank you for a quality rail system just like all your products!

  • i put the 7.0 omega rail on my ar and i love it, its light, easy to install, and solid!!!

  • great stuff

  • that guy convince me to buy an DD upper receiver. thank you.

  • I have a DD lite that came with a bcm pencil middy and I am extremely happy with it, handles nicely with a CAV15 lower totalling in at around 5lbs. I love their fixed rail sights too. I'm also very impressed that DD make their own lowers, as opposed to pre made or pre formed cmt lowers.

  • Daniel Defense needs to make this same rail to fit the OPS-416 piston for the AR type rifles

  • I didn't find out until today that the bottom comes apart for easier installation without having to take off that damn front sight. I'm gonna need one of these for my m16, beautiful product!

  • great demo's

  • I love their "lite" rails. It's not as easy to install as the omega, but the weight and functionality of that platform is amazing. I've used the heavier KAC rail platform in the marines and I can tell you right now that thing is far too heavy and doesn't create that monolithic flat top. Love Daniel Defense! Keep up the good work.

  • I have a DD Omega 9.0 rail, it went on in minutes and is rock solid.

Quality, LIGHTWEIGHT rail. Im not sure how the LITE 9.0 compares in weight.

  • The only thing I do not like about the DD omega rail and any of their rails is that under a stress test with 90 rounds in less than 1 minutes the black coloring of the rail tented a green coloration because of the extreme heat. but then again, who is going to be shooting over 90 rds in one minute anyways.

  • i like this rail but im sorry...its over priced. i got a YHM light wieght free float rail and it was more reasonably priced and in my opinion loks better.. thats just me..but.. i feel this rail is over priced.

  • The YHM light rail is also heavier and requires modification to the weapon. YHM recommends a gunsmith do the installation of their free float rails. So yes the Daniel Defense rail is more expensive, but overpriced is subjective and many people prefer its features.

  • I wonder if a gas pistol system like an Osprey defense conversion will fit under this rail system.

  • the Adams arms piston kit will work with this rail

  • does this mark up the delta ring at all

  • @StAg the omega doesn't mar the delta ring at all. I like it, it's a good rail and if you can't run a DD LITE rail it's the one to use.

  • do you need the front sight and that plate in order for this to work? and why wouldnt you be able to run a dd lite rail?

  • The DD LITE rail requires you remove the FSB and flash hider. I didn't want to ruin my pinned $100 suppressor mount/flash hider, so i went with the Omega. All you need for the Omega rail to work is a stock barrel nut. The front sight and plate don't have to move... but you could remove them for a gas block or folding FSB if you wanted.... but if you can do that work, just get a DD LITE rail.

  • @StAgMaStA1 no. this rail actually mounts inside of the delta ring. you know the multi point star shape on the inside? well, that is where it mounts. and it is a tight fit, no wobbles. By the way, yourname contains stag, do you also have a stag?

  • @3mealsaday yes I do I have a model1 carbine

  • Does this Fit on a Non Free Float?

  • if i ordered these, how long would it take to ship to california? and should i order from the direct website? or are you guys backordered?

  • I bought these rails a while ago and let me tell you these are probably the best rails out there. They went on my AR easy and these rails will only come off when you want them off. Like anything else the price is kinda up there but I've learned if you love your AR spoil it with the best. Daniel Defense all the way.

  • I got the lite Rail. Not sure the advantage is over the Omega if any, but I do like the fact it's one piece instead of two.

  • I am going to buy one..its looks like what i been searching for.

  • I love this rail and I'm glad you guys posted a video of it installed and in use. I bought one a few months ago and it's incredibly solid and light weight. Great job with this product. I've been able to recommend it to friends and family.

  • thank you for the video I will use this info for my next quad rail purchase for my AR but the only thing i have a question with is how the hell is it free float when its a 2 peice rail system i thought only single peice rail systems were freefloating

  • Thanks for asking. To be a true free float system, the upper and lower rails screw together securely around the interior of your rifle's delta ring. Four integrated set screws are then compressed agaist the delta ring to fully support the weight of the Omega Rail and whatever accessories you mount to it, plus, the entire installation requires no special tools (a screwdriver and provided Allen wrench) and can be completed within minutes. Instructions are supplied in the box. Hope that helps!
