I was young and confused but I will never forget the look on my mother's face and her frantic voice trying to call my father who was on a plane to New York, thankfully he landed safely. I was 22 years old and working in a warehouse in East New York on 9/11. I'll never forget. Now that I work in law enforcement, I feel the deep sadness for falled officer and firefighters and really everyone a little bit more.
This was a sad day indeed. Even after witnessing it on T.V. it left me traumatised and thats no conparison to what it did to the people who witnessed it for real, not to mention the victims who had to live through it. But I'll always look at it as a dark day that I won't soon forget. But I also remember the heros of that day too. This a beautiful song and a very fitting tribute to the victims of 911. I was 4 when this happened. And i was so scared. Becuz my dad was in the army and he told me he was gona some where and i didn't know where and i thought he had died on 9/11 and whne he came back omg i ws crying so hard i was soo happy that he was ok i thought i lost him.

it's sooo sad. When that happened i was only 5. My mom was crying her eyes out because her brother was supposed to have a meeting there. God must have been watching over him because the meeting was rescedueled and moved somewhere else. All i remember from that day is watch my mom come running up fom te basement crying from watching what had happened. My dad picked my sister up from school. Scary days especially at a young age.

Even after witnessing it on T.V. it left me traumatised and thats no conparison to what it did to the people who witnessed it for real, not to mention the victims who had to live through it. But I'll always look at it as a dark day that I won't soon forget. But I also remember the heros of that day too. This a beautiful song and a very fitting tribute to the victims of 911. I was just one of the many who helped do relief work at Ground Zero. God, the destruction I saw. At night, the giant searchlights peering into bombed out office buildings looked so eerie. But going on eight years now, we are a far stronger country now then on 9-10. It doesnt matter if you're a Republican or a Democrat. It's what binds us all together that really matters.

I was 4 when this happened. And i was so scared. Becuz my dad was in the army and he told me he was gona some where and i didn't know where and i thought he had died on 9/11 and whne he came back omg i ws crying so hard i was soo happy that he was ok i thought i lost him.

I know it was 7 years ago, but watching these videos fill me with such sadness and anger. I can't believe people could be so evil. but yet although we all saw such evil that day, the bravery of so many shows just how kind and loving we can be. I think to save someone is one thing but to risk your life in the process is just incredible. And everyone that helped from the doctors to the rescuers at ground zero for they are the true heros! it's sooo sad. When that happened i was only 5. My mom was crying her eyes out because her brother was supposed to have a meeting there. God must have been watching over him because the meeting was rescedueled and moved somewhere else. All i remember from that day is watch my mom come running up fom te basement crying from watching what had happened. My dad picked my sister up from school. Scary days especially at a young age.

My bf at the time, her grandparents missed the plane that they were supposed to be on, thank god. Cause that one crashed. I came home and played Jewel's Spirit album all night while laying in bed.
