FYI - Greg Brown and his wife have now been charged with Petit theft. They will be required to write letters of apology and perform community service if they wish to take part in a diversion program.

These are all great comments but so many are just going off what they heard or trying to take up for the child Greg Brown Jr. I know first hand that Son of Broxson was driving up to Milton every night for a week in hopes of finding who was stealing the signs. He enjoys covert things like any guy would and this night he happened to catch the perpetrator. When he saw it was Greg Brown and his wife it was the icing on the cake. Nothing intentional just they way God had planed it out.

@ty2tall. Brown claims to have all the excuses lined up and ready but the proof is in the video. There were many other peoples signs on that corner other than Broxson, and Greg brown choose to take only Doug's. The signs may look for back from the road but that is only because the camera has a wide angle lens. The only thing Greg could do was the call the owner of the land and beg him to tell everyone that Greg was the only one allowed to place signs there.

@ty2tall. Greg plans on being a lifetime politician and to start out with an untruthful campaign is horrible. Lots of people believe Doug's campaign is wrong to post the video but Greg is pulling in Thousands of hard earned dollars and running a corrupt campaign that the people need to know who they are voting for. I'll be willing to bet that a lot of those people supporting him believe they are supporting Greg Brown Senior ;)

@pdub7772010 Well if you read the News Journal you see that the property owner said Greg had permission. And as for your question about contacting law enforcement, yes I guess Mr Broxson would think that is a good use of our law enforcement. What a waste. There is already too much waste in Tally. And Greg took 'em down at 9 because he was leaving a political event - just as Doug knew he would be...that's why his son just happened to be there with a camera!

I'm not his mother! What on earth do you mean by "drinking too much"? He just came from a political rally. It is CLEARLY far back from the road and private property. Interesting that you think the camera guy just happened to be there after the political event when Doug knew Greg would be driving by. Obviously he knew Greg had exclusive permission to post on the property and to remove his trespassing signs. I'm no idiot, it was a set-up and Broxson used taxpayer $ for his own political gain

They touched it every time a car came by. You must be his mother to be so blind. That was not private property and you know it! He was caught just like a thief in the night. That was private property. Greg Brown had permission to put his signs there and to take down the signs of his opponents. The one doing something wrong is the trespasser. Not to mention how Doug Broxson was more than happy to waste taxpayer dollars by calling the sheriff before Greg or the property owner. What an act of cowardice! Don't let your vote be determined by a set up that is without basis in fact. Vote for the experienced, knowledgeable candidate, Greg Brown!

People doing legal things don't worry about that stuff and they do it in the daylight. And why are the police on their way to arrest Mr. and Mrs. Brown right now? @patooyee They were on their way home from a political event and it happened to be at night. And Greg wasn't arrested. Far from it. He has the property owner's permission to be on the property and to put signs on the property AND to remove signs of his opponents on the property. If someone put a sign on your property that you disagreed with, you wouldn't take it down? That doesn't make sense!

@patooyee If you want to know if what they did was legal...if you really want to know...you would just inquire as to what the property owner says. That's it. It is private property. That means something. The property owner gets to say what signs go on his/her property and who can enter his/her property. That determines the legality of it. So ask, "what does the property owner say?" He says: Greg Brown has my permission to put his signs on the property and remove the signs of his opponents.

Neither one of those things make you smell a rat? Come on. I have a 16 month old son that already knows if he takes something that is not his it's called stealing. @flynez Get the other side before you get disgusted with Greg. The "politics as usual" is the mudslinging, lying, and set-up by Greg's opponent. Greg has stayed above this all. In fact, his opponent has launched a misleading push poll to influence the vote. Greg has stayed out of the mud this entire race. He is a good man. He is experienced and compassionate. Don't let a set-up influence your vote. That would be a shame.
