  • Wow....sooo born in the wrong generation. Stupid 20s.

  • I love tom's jumpsuits

  • they gave us songs to bang our heads to is this music important enough to be in the hall of fame ? You're damn right it is!!!!

  • My favorite Trick tune!

  • Eddie Trunk loves this song!

  • YES!

  • This IS their best song, even if its a cover.

  • @jmac5058

i never knew it was a cover!!! who did it first?

  • No Cheap Trick, Rush or Kiss in the RRHF just continues to make that silly little "elite club" a joke to all fans far & wide.

  • Tom may have dressed like a chick back then, but he still was awesome rockin' that 12 string bass

  • Tom Petersson...my other husband

  • Tom Peterson thee, best bass player in rock & roll, hands down

  • This rocks my soul....love Cheap Trick...

  • simply the best CT album ...EVER. oh, the memories.

  • The LP version is my favorite Cheap Trick ever. This video is just old and unexpected enough to amaze me tonight, don't they look like anime?

  • this concert was like 23 songs. I have it! Where is the rest of the show?

  • few people realize that Tom plays 12 string bass- gives the band a unique sound

  • Indeed, Joe. Tom plays an 8, 10, and 12 string, and he designed them all himself.

  • @VinBad007 Wrong. Tom didn't design the 8-string (although there's now a TP Waterstone 8-string). He came up with the -idea- for the 12 string because he wanted something that sounded bigger than the Alembic 8-string he used live (he almost always uses 4-strings in the studio). The 10 was made because Hamer thought they couldn't do a 12, due to the insane amount of tension. Once the 10 worked, they did the 12, and the rest is history.

  • @joebester I thought it was pretty common knowledge. It does play a huge, and important, part in the Cheap Trick 'sound'. Hugely influential band.

  • I still like the original done by Terry Reid...he wrote it.

  • What?

  • I finally heard the original and yeah - it's awesome! As a big CT fan it's interesting to hear Terry Reid at last, in fact, I suspect he was probably an influence on Robin Zander!

  • @peggyjonni To each his own. I think this smoke's it!!

  • hell ya

  • Providence Civic Center!

    We hope all is well.

    xoxo

  • the greatest

  • wow! simply fantastic! the trick is on fire. and what great quality audio and video.

  • I've never seen the band so aggressive as on these Dream Police videos. Tom especially! Love the new vids.

  • Anyone with some spare change laying around should pick up their first record. I did a long time ago. Actually it was a mistake because I couldn't keep it away from my brothers and sisters turntables. Oh the stress

  • One of my favorite CT songs, Robin has an awesome voice!
