  • Very beautiful Bonsai! I wish I could have a Japanese Maple in AZ. Sadly.....too hot here for that. Please keep up the great videos.

  • @azgardener Actually, there are quite a few species of tree suitable for bonsai in arid climates. Many african trees work well, such as Baobab and Umbrella Thorn.

    Also, many succulents can be turned into living sculptures as well. They are a bit different, as most succulents are rosette forming, and as such the ends of each branch become focal points and ramification becomes more difficult and in some cases almost impossible.
