My dad was on the beach when these tests were done...He was in the hospital and paralyzed for 11 weeks after and he said alot of the guys lost their hair and were violently ill and a few were even unable to return to duty...he picked up sea shells off the beach and sent them to his parents and when they died in 1985 those sea shells were found in a trunk in their basement and my brother-in-law was a Major in the National Guard and he brought in a geiger counter and they were still hot!

Finally the Navy figured out the source of radiation and they moved the natives back to another island. They hated it. The big question is; Why couldn't America find another place to drop it? Why on someone's home?
