Before Assassin's Creed 2 was released, Ubisoft made a series of Youtube videos, all theatric-quality live-action and 36 minutes together, about Ezio's father Giovanni and his missions just before the beginning of the second game. Even explains how his hidden blade was broken in the first place. It's called 'Assassin's Creed: Lineage'.

@JPLyokoWarrior Yeah it's cool. What I really love is how they used the digital sets from the games. I personally would've used real sets for interiors and courtyards, but if I ever were to make an AC movie myself, I'd use CG exteriors too.

@Zurc219 it's the same thing if you play the game. When you start your assassinations the bells ring and they don't stop until you get to the assassin's bureau to complete your mission :)

they took it out because a crossbow would take to long to reload and replaced it with throwing knifes which is much quicker

If you get 100% sinc you get the crossbow... It just changes the throwing knives into bolts and you shoot... Awesome, but very hard to get - you need to get all the flags and have every mission solved

They were originally going to give Altair a crossbow but then realized the design didn't fit with the 12th century date, and they scrapped the idea, they WERE going to give it to Ezio but guns were only just being invented at around that period and so they gave him a gun instead ^^;;

You can; lock on ('F' for computer) then hold High Profile button ('Right Click' for computer) and walk towards the enemy. You can jump on them from the side of walls, ladders, fences, lots of things.

at 1:23-1:25 they let u do that in the 1st 1 alredy just sprint 2 the person u want 2 assassinate but make sure they are facing u to do it like a 1:01 or 1:25
