I had a 75 Monza 1/4 mile car. When I tried to sell it, everybody wanted it for nothing or wanted it as a roller. Hope you had better luck than I did.
Hi redhot. I still have it, I ran it locally on craigslist and the shopper and had some guys that wanted it. Problem was they wanted me to give it to them.
The car has been garage kept for the last 15 years. Virtually rust free, one spot on hatchback rail is all. Most GM's from the era rusted to the ground by now.
4 wheel disc 9 inch rear, NOS, custom headers, TCI reverse manual valve body TH350 tranny fresh rebuild, new 3500 stall, new nitto drag radials on rear,
Nothing wrong with the Monza design . . . matter of fact it is one of the most popular Pro-Stock choices of all time.
it may be my next pro-street choice , Light, easy to drop in a high output power plant, easy to fully cage and tub, easy to tube frame the front end . .GREAT all around Drag Car.
fuck the camaro it's too mainstream and way too over-rated. Many GM models between those years share the same tail lights head lights gauges you name it. Monza had class and style the camaro is just a lame version of the corvette
@TheLizardKing1967 ----Ok so lets use your logic here and say the Monza's design "sucks" because it has Camaro tail lights--- ok so when the new Camaro came out in 82, I guess it must "suck" because it has Monza headlights! ......."ya jackass!"
@TheLizardKing1967 Calling the guy who made a logical point, "uneducated", actually makes you look pretty uneducated yourself... But I'm only an ex-military jet mechanic, who builds hotrods for a living, so what do I know?!

Thanks for the comment JP. I am in the process of selling it now to potshot23.
JP as far as timeslips, we run 1/8 mile tracks in this area and I think you mean 1/4 mile right.
The car runs in the low 7's without NOS and gets into the high 6's on the gas.
This is the 3rd one I have had in my life and either you love these or hate them, seems there is no in between.
