  • 1:16 What was she thinking?

  • 1:04 what you came here for.

  • lol women cant jump

  • Amazing jumps but seriously commentary is wrong all over.

  • dat ass

  • 1:16 Greeks!

  • Watch my Athletics videos

  • Love how they wear just bikini bottoms in athletics, so hot !

  • @easynowww Now that was not very nice! :O

  • First time I see an athlete in a skirt! :O

  • I believe that hrusophgh devetzi is the best triple jumper than all !also tatiana lebedeva is very-very good athlete!they are the only two athletes with yargelis savigne that they can break up the worl record!

  • 15.39- 15.32 and 15.23 amazing final!

  • dont know how etone jumps that far her technique is ugly

  • what you call ugly in first place is totally subjective, in second not relevant for far distances. the basics which produce good results are great, beside savigne the best in the world.

  • Not taking anything away from her achievement, just stating her technique is pretty bad

  • sorry, but you are wrong. you have to understand a little about biomechanics to state such comments. she produces lower speedlosses and better angles than the other girls, this is what counts for technical brilliance. this is also the reason why she jumps further allthough the others might be better "athletes". and if you take some time for closer observation you should be able to see this.

  • Well maybe in this particular jump did hit the foot positioning right in relation to her weight which made her go the distance she did, for me her technique appears to a bit 'up and down' rather than clawing with the leg, and seems to have poor posture, she obviously has tremendous natural ability and could go much further surely with improved technique, one things for sure if devetzi or lebedeva jumped the way etone does they wouldn't be at the olympics!

  • just one example there are more, but i dont want to teach you. stop the video at the position of deepest kneeangle (step and jump) and observe the position of the drive leg at this moment. this is great at mbango, aswell as it is at edwards or savigne. compared to this, lebedeva and devetzi have to learn alot. second it is annoying to adapt individual technique to other athletes. lets say if other girls jump like lebedeva, they will end up in hospital e.g., but for her it is working.

  • @Stafanitus i am triple jumper and i know all technigues and i want to complete that mbango had 13.90 in 2007 but lebedeva 15.14 and phgh devetzi 15.09! also mbango has only two great games in ,olympics of course but lebedeva and devetzi has infinite great performances!

  • @chris3jumper1

I dont get your point at all if you quote to me. what has a "bad" season best to do with good technique? you are 14 years old and know all techniques? really? watch a deep alltime list and tell me how many of these athletes you did see jumping?

  • @Stafanitus how do you know that i am 14? i know all triple jumpers !i know all technigues because i start doing triple jump in my 8 so i didn't tell you that i can do perfect technigues and perfect triple jump but i know all thechigue and i can understant if one athlete have good or bad technigue and fransoise mbango etone have good technigue but not the best!

  • @chris3jumper1

...maybe its writen in your profile??? since chistyakova in 1989, 67 women broke 14,50m and i hardly missed a hand full of them. i doubt you really saw them all. if so, ok, but i cant believe it. no matter, believe what you think, if you rate devetzi and savignes jumping form higher, you must be right.

  • @Stafanitus yes i know everything and all about chistyakova who is the world record holder in long jump with 7.52! i respect what you believe and i agree with the most of them and i don't want to have an arguement with you!

  • @chris3jumper1 i want to complete that in triple jump she had 14.45 in 1989!

  • @chris3jumper1

so this is the last one, cause i really dont understand your point. you dont wanna argue but you quoted on my statement nearly one year after i wrote it. so what did you wanna tell me then. chistyakova set a world record of 14,52 in 89. some kind of start for the event in my opinion. since then the number of athletes over 14,50m (outdoor legal) came to 67. and i really doubt you wittnessed many of them, allthough you know every technique. lets end it up here.

  • @Stafanitus sure!

  • women triple jumpers are awsome!! they just go for it, screw the ttecnique they just go as far as they phisicly can! they practicly do splits in the air!

  • yea, the men just jog down the runway and work a lot harder than they need to in the jump....

the women just fly down the runway and let their speed do the work :D

  • wow you really don't know much about the event, female jumpers naturally have a higher turn-over rate that men so they look to be moving faster.

both however are trying to control the jump, and to go 17.50+ takes effort, as does 15+ so what you've said is the men should speed up and try less...

  • WR is 15.5m

  • this competition was incredible!!!

mbango is the true world record holder kravets tested positive before AND after her 'world record'

also devetzi had a 15.50 foul in the third round!!

  • 2 silver medals for Tatyana. Long jump and triple jump. She's really an amazing athlet.

  • the commentators suck!!!! Francoise jumps the second longest ever and they don't even bother talking about it.

  • i will join in this event! whooo...love triple long jump!

    Nahum
