  • You know your body and she doesnt, so screw her, and do your thang!

  • She needs to be reprimanded for discouraging you. That is not her job, and she can not speak for you and your motivation. I can understand her saying what the statistics are, but not to single you out, and tell you that you can not do it. So what when you do get to that 150? What will she have to say then? Believe it or not, her negativity will be a source of motivation for you in itself. I know you will work to prove her wrong.

  • thank you everyone for your support,i am not letting that nut of a doctor get me down. I'm going to go back to her next year and show her i got to goal, the key is to never give up, because if you do its all over. well its a hard battle but worth every pound. i am in it to win it. thank you all again =)

  • wow! talk about motivation... why would she tell you that you will not get to your goal weigh... you are right if you keep working hard after the year you will reach your goal. I have people I work with that have the band for 2 years now and have lost over 200lbs. Keep up the good work and do what works for you everyone is different :)

  • Girl..don't pay attention to what that lady was telling you! Sounds like she is trying to sabatage you! You should add weight training along with the arobics so that you build muscle..and yes muscle weighs more than fat but it also burns fat aswell. Honey, you can attain the personal goal you set for yourself so don't let anyone tell you that you can't! You will make it I can tell by your enthusiasm..keep up the good work  :-)
