THANK YOU to crankcaz for taking the time to record & upload all of these! I can't afford to buy dozens of Disney movies for my toddler, but she loves these songs when I play them for her. Using youtube downloader I am making dvd's of all the disney songs I loved as a child. Now she loves them too!
@blissfire3 Not to seem rude, but may I recommend Amazon? You can buy things there from $0.01 (if you don't mind them used, just check the stars) Just thought I'd suggest that ^_^
Man, the visuals of this opening and the tribal nature of the opening song, plus the pure power of the singers towards the end... this segment never fails to give me chills.
this was the first movie i took my now 19 almost 20 year old so to... he was so entrailed by the colors and music he never noticed his foot was trapped in the seat from him standing in the seat to see over the people in fromt of us. (no statium seating bac then) such a wonder memory and movie. i bought the dvd for his christmas present this year...
My mum is having her second child soon, im 18 and I will be the awesome big brother that show's it all the classic Disney films that I was brought up with and that child shall be as awesome as I :L
I know that The Lion King was made additionally by the animation crew of Space Jam with studios, A. Film A/S Denmark & Estonia, Creative Capers Entertainment, Walt Disney Animation France & Australia and Wang Film Productions, becuase there is no way that 50 animators in one studio could make a 89 minute film, they would need help from other animation studios.
oh my goodness i've been on the real set of this place. MIKUMI AHHH MEH! for a school trip i went to mikume. it was hell. vomit, snares on lions......dumb tourists who are blank and amazed by lions. (who could blame them! they never get old) and hakuna matatata is in udzungwa by mikumi.
i told my friends i wanted to see this movie in 3-D. they laughed, saying, "we're too old for those movies" then i watch this scene and the rest of this movie and ask my self "how on earth can they say that. This movie is timeless. Beautifully made with such a fantastic message. And especially the circle of life. moves me to tears."
@minniemouse213 its amuzing now because i took a bunch of them 2 see it in 3d with me, and they agreed, it's soooo beautifuk. it made me laugh! it also made me miss these classics. Disney should go back to these

The diference between Old Disney and New Disney is the difference between a beutiful painting and a hologram. It's all about the spectacle they can do technically, not what the love they can create with a few dashes of colour and a skilled hand.

@ThePenlessArbiter honestly i dont like tangled winnie the poo well is not that new the princesse and the forg is... well changed it to much... but yes i agree they still are in the "old" disney spirit
This song is incredible. I literally just shivered while singing along. Few songs today can bring shivers down my spine, but almost every original Disney movie has that effect on me. Disney was the greatest, key word being "was".
@yukifan7 Hope you're not trying to be negative, because no one will change the way they look at this film because of Kimba the white lion. No one in this generation knows who that is anyway, so no one really cares.
@Dattebayo04 Of course not. Im just stating an intresting thing i found out. @yukifan7 Ok,that's cool. But it's disney's fault for the whole incident about the Kimba thing, and not the Lion king's. Glad they ripped it off though. You see they were first going to make a movie of Kimba, but couldn't get the rights, soo they said fuck it and made this. It was better that way.
Don't let this song fool you.... it isn't that exciting to sing... especially if you're not that really loud guy in the beginning.... -A-;; all you get to say is "Ingonyamanengwinemababa" and you will never forget it. EVER.

@ILUVFFANDKH +1 ... I`ve watched Disneys animated movies when I was 3 years old and onward (at that time we lived in London) and now when I am back in Slovenia and 18, the old Disney pictures bring out tears, so much emotion in music/story ... Disney pictures are legendary and so are the artists that created for Disney, from musicians to painters and story writers ...
Have anyone ever noticed that these videos recorded by crazycaz are a step up in their pitch? It sounds SO much then what was originally recorded by Disney personally. By the way, Colors of the Wind from Pocahantas recorded by crazycaz is the BEST one so far!

Two people disliked this because someone said that there were no dislikes. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Back when 2D ruled and the singing actually went with the movie and the scene. Now it's like everyone wants 3D and endless stupid musicals.

@ILUVFFANDKH I just cried thinking about it. No joke, I have tears.

Have anyone ever noticed that these videos recorded by crazycaz are a step up in their pitch? It sounds SO much then what was originally recorded by Disney personally. By the way, Colors of the Wind from Pocahantas recorded by crazycaz is the BEST one so far!

They just don't make Disney movies like the ones I grew up with anymore =/ I miss this Disney...moving and powerful, not bubbly and mindless
