  • Sorry it was not sung in the original German which is how I first heard In Dulci Jubilo.

  • Aah reminds me of Christmas Eve at my parents house where we light the Christmas tree lights and sit in the living room and its all lovely and Christmasy! :)

  • Bravo

  • It's not so much that the basses disappear -- they are a very warm, solid presence under the clearer trebles. But it's true that they seem to lose a bit of definition. I don't think I'd like to hear them trained with more edge to try and compensate for the diffusing effect of the space, though -- the tone they have is manly and a good match for the purity of the boys.

  • Brilliant. Best cathedral choir in the country

  • @grahart1 It's not a cathedral choir. It's a chapel choir - King's College 's chapel is not a cathedral. But yes, definitely a stunning performance

  • @MissLilithe it's as big as one!

  • @kaa1710 - I think this is possibly a known issue with the King's acoustic, which favours upper voices. The basses are singing as loud as everyone else, but they disappear...

  • i'd prefer more bass performance.

  • Magnificent performance! Merry Crhistmas
