strange ,127.0.0.1 is usually ur computer ip address when u are not connected to internet it mean it is local host but there should be some thing you doing it wrong

in msn when u chat Ur PC connected to other one in order not to make Microsoft server busy that is why we can reveal IP address but i don't know how icq operating but you can try it
