It was a little nasaly. It also sounded like sometimes you were running low on breath. It was also a little slow, and the dynamics could have been better. Very nice. And I'm not gonna lie, the first note hit me, and I thought it was face! Really! Keep working cause you are at a nice place. Amazing if you improve it. :]
You have a very nice baratone voice. But ill tell you the truth, You need your pitch better and also, you keep on takeing some notes in your nose. Mostly on Vittoria. But very nice! Im also a baratone at a young and maybe im going to become a bass. Great Job! Keep it up.
you really do have a pretty good voice, but, like the other guy said, i think you use a little too much vibrato in this song... but other then that i really liked it, and i am looking forward to singing this song for solo/ensemble this year so hearing this sorta helped me out a little too :)
exactly. they come on here with a predetermined mind set to bash on talented singers when they realistically have little to offer to the musical community
no prob dude ive been lookin for this song on the interenet becuase im singing it for my state competition in a month and yeah everyone should comment like that a bunch of over critical jerks if ya ask me
I'm not sure why you're commenting again, you already responded to my last comment. And no thanks, I'm not interested in tutoring. Maybe a local high school might offer some night classes though.
I like your tone of voice, and guys, maybe he is singing that slow becuause the accompaniment is slow, that happens to me all the time. According to my score the tempo is 168 if I remember correctly
lol... stop singing with your throat! it sounds so constricted... just leave your throat where it is and control the pitch with your upper abdominal muscles...
Actually to me it looks like he is in pain. He needs to learn how to keep his sound into one core resonant space. And his tempo seems as if he's..."running a marathon"?
umm well i like your voice but im kinda a... hmm how do i say... perfectionest when it comes to singging... sing more foward and not in the back of your throat (it reduces the naisely tone) brush up your italian a little (it was better then i could do but i noticed a few mistakes) and then try not to move your jaw when you do your runs... thank you for keeping goregeous music like this alive and thanks for being open to comments
I agree. It's not quite an opinion as an informed observation. Oddly enough, if he perceived sound forward a tad, it would in likely fix the problem. Veeerrryyyy gifted voice, though.
Awesome! These songs are very standard for beginning voice, so a lot of people will be familiar with it. Makes it harder to perform since everyone knows it. I like Vittoria the best because I like robust songs. Have you heard Pur Dicesti yet? You might like that.
hey, I'm doing this song too--I think we're from the same area, because last year we did Sebben crudele.
I think that this song is quite difficult. Range wise, it's easy. The rhythms are also fairly easy. The tempo change keeps getting me. However, I can do almost the entire song.
I, too, am having a little trouble with some of the pronunciations. I'm listening to several youtube versions to see what it seems to be correct.
Great job, I just got into the music program at WCSU with this song and this is a great song as well. You had a slightly different version than mine, near the chorus it was different and also you only sang one verse. Also in Italian don't be afraid to really roll those RRRRR's. Other than that you did a great job!
Ohh I just figured out what you're talking about. I'm confusing my Italian with Spanish. Lagrimar and lagrima mean the same thing in both lanugagues...so I'm confusing them!
Your Italian is mispronounced. I don't know what arrangement you had, but it was unusual..Especially near chorus. I was surprised by your voice, At first I thought were a high tenor.
Yeah I've noticed my version is very different as well. I'm not sure how it's supposed to be originally, so I'm just reading from what I see. LoL I get the tenor thing a lot. Thanks :)
its good/your voice does not match your singing voice lol kinda different, I did sing this song last year and it seems kind of different, also I thought you would sound like a tenor, but does not sound like the tenor one, was it medium-low?
the eighth notes sounded a little meshed..but ur voice is spectacular.

Apparently I have a problem with the pronunciation too. Ask your teacher for help.

Haha I could just see that. Some chick who looks like she'd be a mezzo soprano get up there and start singing like that. That would be so cool! :D

nice timbre... I love this song.... actually my score (parisotti edition) says "non lagrimar"
I would listen to Cecilia Bartoli for correct pronounciation,
