I don't hate them but they were both selfish and rude..They only seemed to think about themselves which is what Sawyer did at first and realized he needed to change except they didn't and didn't plan to..I was happy they died not in a mean way but I rather spend time watching my favorite characters than them..

Their introduction was very gradual and planned, I don't think this scene is a good indication of Clare's true character. Clair is open minded and has decorum, this iss 'odd-claire'. Thats why I think it's deleted. LOST RULES!!!!

Perhaps the scene was deleted on purpose. It wasn't too long after that they learned of the end date for the show. Perhaps knowing this, they decided to introduce Nikki and Paulo so that they wouldn't be liked and wouldn't have to worry about two more island cast members and worry about the ones that matter in the long run.
