it should be instant i thought because its belt driven, but limited to how much boost it can build because the gear box is the weak link. its hard to engineer a gear box that can handle the kind of speed necessary and the stress of high boost.
I guess it really all depends on the cogged belt set up..... I know the faster you spin them the higher the boost it puts out, but limited to the speed rating of the bearings and gearset in the blower's gearbox. The Vortech on my cobra doesn't even start building boost until about 3000 rpm and hits 15psi at 6500 rpm. Twin screw or roots on vehicles usually hit max boost output by 3000 rpm and don't really build any more boost as the revs build......i think lol.

so can you really hit as many psi with the cetrufugal charger? and its as instant? first time iv seen a non-roots blower on a pulling truck.
