It was hard to get it close because the spore editor limits you on how complex your vehicle can be. If it didn't I could have made this a whole lot better. Like for example I had to sacrifice some limbs structures for the lighting details

To be honest not really. The original concept that I saw in the early stage development videos is what made me want to buy it but EA dumbed it down to the point where it was just a silly kids game. I mean, the vastness of the game world is incredible but it just loses playability after you reach the pinnacle of the space stage.

Agreed, but the fault lies with the lead designer (Can't recall his name). He said he wanted to make it "more accessible". There's two terms I hate seeing with upcoming games: Accessible, and stream-lined. They never end well.
