This is possibly a dumb question, but I'm askin' it anyway :) Where are these videos from? I love it when she explains songs and talks about them. She has such an interesting (there's an understatement!) mind.
yeah, i still see a disconnect. she's a brilliant woman, obviously.. and her explanations of these concepts are absolutely fascinating... but the album The Beekeeper.. somehow lacked the depth and curiosity and infinity that she quite clearly has inside her.
I can't believe anyone thinks badly of The Beekeeper--it's one of my favorite albums of Tori's. It fascinates me without end and I consider it a beautiful work of genius. This is a terrific interview!
God, she's fabulous! Everybody who bluntly dismissed The Beekeeper as her weakest work would definetly change their minds if they'd stop to appreciate this beautiful interviews. Once again, Thank you SO much! - C

I have always understood Tori, her lyrics, and the explanations of her lyrics. If you're on the same level as she - it's easy to "get".
