Yes, Mr. Peck was a great actor but a movie with a Canuck as a main character and an American playing that role. Usually it's the other way around! And that is why I've liked this film since I first watched it in the 60's on an old B&W. ( Mr. Peck; Thank you for your films)
I'm enjoying this and it is quite believable but at 4:54 on Clip 2 we see, as we have so often seen in other movies, a man sweltering in the unbearable heat looking straight up at the sun. I suppose this helps those of the audience whose experience of extreme heat is limited to a day on the beach at Brighton to understand how he is feeling, but it is something I have never witnessed in over 25 years spent in Africa and Arabia.
