  • @AndrewsProduction100 Haven't really tested the limits of the game engine in large open world maps. I can't tell you for sure.

    I've already made a skills menu and quests.

    Also I'm a super noob with programming codes and but I think I can help with the creation of characters, objects and buildings with milk shape or any a affordable 3d modeling software .

  • @KiyoCukuma Actually this project is on hold for the moment. I'm working with a team on another project called Gore Toon. As soon as it is ready I will resume developing for my RPG. Thanks for offering your help.

  • @frewen15 You start with something simple. As you gain experience you move to more complicated projects.

  • Some people experienced a problem with the game controls. So I've posted an updated demo where this bug is fixed. Read the description for the new link to the demo.

  • Until you start using Blender you have no idea how long this kind of stuff takes. Good job! In a decade, I wonder just how many games will be made by just anyone on a PC.

  • @BinaryCrunch I agree. Nowadays there are numerous possibilities and tools for us amateur game makers. It takes a lot of effort, but anyone can make a decent game. A small team of talented people can create small miracles if they want.

  • Nice! Do you have any plans of eventually making your game into an mmorpg or implementing an server-client capabilities? I also mess around with blender but have not made anything to the extent of what you have done thus far. Keep it up!

  • @ganjamonk For the moment I'm developing this as a single player RPG.

  • i love your texture and this game. but when you kill someone, it would be cool if they fell down and their body reamined instead of dissapearing. Also, you should change the ackgroung a bit. Add some mountains, hills, and darker clouds. when the clouds and the sky are relly bright, it makes the game look fake. when somebody gets hit, add more of a motion to the enemy. Maybe he can take a few steps back and make it look like he has to balence himself so he dousn't fall.

  • @AnotherAwesome You do understand that this is a very complicated project and can't be resumed in a tutorial. I'm afraid it's not easy for me to create a tutorial since I'm not a native english speaker. But you can PM me for any question you have and I will answer. Just be specific in what you ask.

  • dows your character bounce of the walls ? it dosnt look like it does... how did you make it do he dosnt bounce ?!?! its a problem in all of my games

  • @BriansBreak Yes it does sometimes. I tried tikering with friction settings and DYN material settings but the result wasn't what I expected. The solution that works best for me is to create invisible vertical walls (planes) at the places where unexpected wall bouncing/climbing occurs. Also always use servo movement.

  • @pananag Just as i got the email talking about this message i was messing with servo controllers... but it slides heaps after i finnish moving forward.. is there a way to make it not slide ?

  • @BriansBreak Are you sure you have friction enabled and you have DYN material settings also enabled for both the ground and the game character?

  • @elobiretv. It depends on how many hours a day you practice. I'd say with a couple of hours practice a day, in 6 months time to 1 year you can make sth like that.

  • looks great... give Uniy 3d a try as well,, its free. I started with the BGE like you . But then I tried UNITY. You'll triple your game development scope as well, save time, and do things with 80% less button clicking with better graphical rendering.

    game is ready.Thankfully I can spend a

    few hours every day developing.

  • decent but may i suggest a different backdrop instead of clouds how about hills and maybe some moutains, try and make it look like it extends into the horizon not directly into empty sky
