  • this makes me want to trade in my CBR 600 RR for a DRZ400!!!

  • did i seriously just watch you go in circles for 4 minutes.

    btw nice bike

  • Do you think it's worth to get a DRZ 400? 'cause this weekend I may could get one.

btw. nice riding and nice vid's.

  • @MonsterEnergySurf ..Yeah you should get it...maintenance is cheap, and the bike will last a long time,, just keep the oil fresh...i change @ 1000miles. some times @ 500 miles...parts and labor for KTM, APPRILIA, are twice as much $ and the engines dont last half the life of a DRZ engine....just my opinion

  • @SuperMotoVideo

thx for your quick answer. Til now I read more or less only good things about it.

Are there some modifications you can recommend?

    Have a nice time ;-)

  • @MonsterEnergySurf ...look @ my youtube home page..i have a list of my mods on the left side..

  • @SuperMotoVideo

    bought a 2006 DRZ-400 SM yesterday :D

can take it home tomorrow or on tuesday.

  • @SuperMotoVideo

The only 2 other bikes with low maintenance are Ktm 690 (smc, duke ecc) and Husky 610 or the new 630.But i think Ktm is the better of the supermoto (if u don't wanna go to change piston every 45 hours!)

and Drz evident!(but with less power)

    U agree? :-)

  • @GuitarRock86 ..well said...thats why i got the DRZ brand new ..keep it well maintained and @ 22.000 miles with 1 valve adjustment @ 12k and i one more valve adjustment @ 24,000 miles a few chains 500 to 750mile oil changes always..the only thing i blow through is tires :) i cant complain.

  • @SuperMotoVideo

In italy we cannot buy the DRZ brand new because it's not in sale. The countries u can buy it are USA and a few states in Europe. Also the Ktm 690 have less maintenance, valve check every 10 or 12 K km,piston change every 50 K km and chains and tires when are over (i saw some forum in internet and i read tires only 5-7000 km)

Oil change i think every 4 K km,i think are 3 liters and filter. ;-)

Power 53 hp at tire,654 cc and 140-145 kg

    What do u think about?

  • @MonsterEnergySurf ..Sweet dude..you are gonna have a blast, there is nothing like a fun hooligan ride on a tard. Enjoy it and upload some ride vids too ;)

  • Great video. I bet you would beat a sport bike doing that. Keep up the cool vidz!

  • Nice. I have an unfinished neighborhood (lots of those nowadays) to run my SMR510 in. If you're like me you want a slipper too. Doesn't sound like you're running one here. Cool video. Thanks for not using shitty music too. XD

  • @mikemk92

By slipper you're referring to the clutch right? How can you tell by the sound??? and what difference does it have to riding?

  • @BlackFlag94 Slippers will not allow the engine to brake the drive train. Instead it will allow you to downshift going in to a tight corner and won't catch until you accelerate out of said corner. Think of it like a ratcheting geardrive on a 10 spd bike. Freewheels unless you accelerate.

  • @mikemk92

Sweet.. thanks mate and well explained. Would you recommend one for all bikes? or just 600s and above?

  • @BlackFlag94 If you've got a $1000 or so to spend and have a Sumo. I'd strongly recommend it. I've not talked to anyone that uses one on a sportbike but I can guess that it would work nicely on one of those as well.

  • @mikemk92

Fair enough, I'll stick to the standard clutch then!!! i'd rather spend £400 de restricting it and putting a performance exhaust on it. check out my vids to see my bike, do you think there's any other mods worth doing?

  • nice

  • Mmmmmm. I watched it twice! Gotta love a good DRZ run

  • looks enjoyable,. lol

  • I'm 15 and just boat a 2008 drz400sm and this makes me want to drive it on the street which i can't legally do!

  • @Andy2008230 ...just go around the block a few times ;)

  • @SuperMotoVideo lol i would but i live in the country!

  • nice dude!! Have you ever driven a yamaha xtx 660 x? i am interest does it fast like drz?

  • @StefanDenic Um, no. :) It's a soft-enduro, not as race-oriented as the DRZ (which is somewhere half-way there at best). It IS faster in a straight line and probably an easier bike to live with on a day to day basis though.

  • @dbauernf thanks for reply....I think to by xtx next summer...it's little heavier, but also have more hp (48)....how long you drive supermoto?

  • @StefanDenic I don't, you can check my channel to see what I ride, but I've ridden the XT, and the Aprilia Pegaso (same engine) etc. If you want to ride like the guy on the video, get the DRZ, you won't have much luck riding like that on an XT-X without some

modifications (brakes for example). Good luck.

  • @StefanDenic ...no i havent, but if its a 660cc it should have some nice power.

  • You didnt stop at stop sign!! xD

  • @M4S73RCH33F ...i ran the stop sign about 50 times ;)

  • if parking lot security comes you should say you couldn't find a parking space

  • Well thats one way to pass time :)

  • looks and sounds slightly sped up in post ;)

  • that's pretty cool... zooming around like a mad man... lol.. too bad none of your buddies are out there enjoying it with you... looks like fun.
