  • Here i am one of there brothers and didnt even know they made it an interview/documentary.

  • I was locked up their in that prison when it happened puro borracho

  • wtf i wanna see the whole show!!!! can anyone help me??

  • @citrusfb24 In the search box type in GRANDES ESCAPES * George Rivas * Los Siete de Texas * 3° Parte

  • i wonder if the show prison break was inspired by this?

  • my former landlords have a guesthouse in seguin, tx and they were there at the time of this infamous escape. my landlords said they were scared for their lives and had their shotguns ready for action when these dangerous people escaped.

  • I've been working at that unit they escaped from since 2005 and I love working there. The job is not for everybody and the Connally Unit can definetly make or break you.

  • I remember this it still scares me.

  • These aren't criminals. Their just idiots. Rule number 1 when escaping from prison, DON'T GO HOME, or any where the police can find you. Don't call your family from any traceable phone and don't go to any public place for about a week. Rule number 2, make plans to leave the country. Rule number 3, if you need money then a bank robbery is always an option if you don't have any available cash.

  • i live in woodland park, where these guys ended up before their capture, i remember my mom telling me after watching the news when their faces appeared," Oh my god, i sold that man cigarettes..." it was the one who shot himself too. the coachlight is also just right of the side of the road and i've been in there many times. pretty freaky

  • Anybody remember how they found out about these guys? I remember my grandma walking in my living room while I was eating dinner saying that 7 criminals escaped from prison so be careful when you go to stores and banks.

  • If a prisoner's smart enough to escape prison, and only committed a minor offence, I say you can let it slide, knowing they're smart enough not to do it again.

  • yes 1 of them did commit suicide,it was Harper.

  • 1:30 Rivas and those 3 other guys who were on phones were wearing street clothes they stole from the maintence workers right. That is why the guards didn't know who they were.

  • @ 4:05 "and a woman"

  • their plan was almost fool proof too bad

  • I got robbed by Donald Newbury in the early eighties. He came into a Godfather's Pizza with a sawed off shotgun and threatened to blow our heads off. I picked him out of a line up a year later and he was imprisoned.

  • i live wher this happened

  • I worked at the same prison in '05. This escape will always be embedded in the memories of everyone that works in the unit. Now I live 10 miles away from the unit. My family and alot of my friends still work there.

  • aww. one killed himself before he got caught. the rest went back to jail.

  • Yes prison escapes... its God helping you escape...-_-' :3

  • Nat Geo loves glorifying prison haha, they have like 10 prison shows. Locked up abroad is crazy

  • man prison must really be like hell for them to be willing to risk their lifes to wanna get out of there

  • @JulieRebu07 Most of the people that escape have life or are about to be executed.

  • @huggerme didnt one of them commit suicide?

  • @JulieRebu07 Yes one did. I was working in Colorado Springs when they ended up being caught. Most of my video was on the documentary on their escape and capture in C.S. Funny thing was, I was in a drive through at DQ and got the call saying they were in Woodland Park. I remember telling my reporter there is no way they are in Colorado. More than likely they are in Mexico. That day one of them committed suicide, while we were interviewing Lt. Skip Arms of the Sheriff's office.

  • @csclark12 yeah i saw the whole video so i saw how they said he died. idk why dey didnt flee to mexico they were dumb

  • @JulieRebu07 Yep Mexico was so much closer than Colorado and maybe the cop in Texas would still be alive today and not killed Christmas Eve.

  • @csclark12 thats true oh now im sad :( but maybe they were waiting for them in the border.

  • @JulieRebu07 prison is HELL,.it's fight-get f*&^% or fight or f again tomorrow//i had alot of fights..ferguson unit also called school of the gladiators..78-82

  • @JulieRebu07 it is

  • @JulieRebu07 they shouldve raped and killed lil kids then... just sayin i have no compasion for offenders

  • Was it real.. Are they in prison now

  • yeah there still in prison but this actually happend some died

  • what did he mean at the end when he said the air actually takes it differently.

  • Your kidding right?

  • no i wasn't kidding i didn't understand what he said. but the dude below me clarified what he said. lol

  • @xxxFaustusxxx Ya... but they say they're innocent.

  • somethingth comment i own

  • they had really good planning, i'm glad they escaped

  • @piano99999 they may have escaped, but they ended up killing a father of two later... as someone who has had a family member in prison, it's just better to wait out your time... On another note, they executed this plan perfectly... I'm sure one of them had some kind of military experience...

  • whats with people being first. its not like people will actually look aaaallllllllllll the way down to the first comment
