  • If you religious people think that your god's real, and answers prayers, why not just pray that all unplanned pregnancies will stop?

People have been doing that praying for a long, long time. It hasn't worked at all.

Get a clue, you superstitious dimwits. Your magical friend is only in your minds.

  • @dimefeet go ahead explain how my friends little sister got miraculously cured of cancer, after half the school prayed the rosary outside the school for the ENTIRE YEAR for her?????She had no surgery to get rid of it. It was there one day, and completely gone the next. And my "magical friend" is Harry Potter. Not God, who scientifically does exist.

  • @4iluvsuga

so you think a god saved your sister but allowed thousands of other children to die that day and countless others to suffer from injury, disease and abuse? I'm sorry, but you religious folks are incredibly narcissistic

  • @LadyAmaltheaUnicorn

Explain to me how I, a religious person, am vain. That is what narcissism means, and I don't see how I am being narcissistic.

  • @4iluvsuga

Vanity aspect of narcissism is not just related to physical adoration, it refers to "self-love" and fascination with oneself.

To believe that a god is working miracles in your life, while allowing countless others to suffer, is incredibly narcissistic for this very reason. It's basically like saying "God is favoring me, because I'm special"

Meanwhile, over 16,000 children will die today of starvation alone, praying to God that isn't there the whole time

  • @LadyAmaltheaUnicorn

I suffer to. And so does everyone I know. Right now, I'm in the process of trying to figure out if I have eosinophilic esophagitis, which only about 150 pediatric patients have been diagnosed with. Tell me that's not suffering. And if more people would be selfless and help, there wouldn't be children dying of starvation. Now, seeing the story from my point of view, explain to me how I am being narcissistic

  • @4iluvsuga

It doesn't matter if your sick or not. The very fact that you believe that there is an entity that is favoring some people over others is messed-up

Many religious people also use this in reverse, seeing themselves or others as being punished by said entity, which is also insane

  • @LadyAmaltheaUnicorn

God favors no one and loves even those who don't love him. That's evident in the lives of the saints, some of whom we're abused, tortured, and were killed an painful ways. And I don't see myself as being punished; I'm just living the life God gave me.

  • @4iluvsuga

Than why would you state that god "healed" someone if you don't believe said god favors people? If you are to maintain a belief that a god is healing and blessing people, by default, you must accept that this god is favoring some while allowing others to suffer, either for punishments sake or apathy

The only other option is that said god does not interfere with our lives, and thus good and bad things happen by chance

  • @LadyAmaltheaUnicorn

It was in God's plan for her to be healed. Some people are not destined to be healed. And everything happens for a reason. Remember that.

  • @4iluvsuga

Let's just say I think that belief is sick, or at least how you view your God is incredibly twisted

  • @LadyAmaltheaUnicorn

God wants some people with him in heaven, because they have already fulfilled their mission on earth, and some people stay here, because their mission is not yet fulfilled. Explain how that is twisted.

  • @4iluvsuga

Your god wants people in heaven.....by making them suffer an agonizing death so that their loved ones can watch them die and live a life mourning them.

I don't know how you religious folks can defend this nonsense

  • @LadyAmaltheaUnicorn

You are just so deadset in your ways. You aren't even open to the slimmest prospect of something other than what you believe being right. If you don't believe it, Oh! It must be completely and utterly wrong. And everybody dies at some point.

  • @4iluvsuga After reading your conversation... I agree with Lady. Your religion.. is just awful. Why would you actively choose to believe in that stuff? It's demeaning to yourself and to others... it's like you don't value yourself or the people around you- your only validation has to come from someone else.. it reminds me of the stereotypical popular girl who bases her value off how many people think she's hot/cool...

You don't need a religion to have value as a person.

  • @ryddelwearsahat

I do value myself AND others. That's why I choose to stand up for those who cannot.

  • @ryddelwearsahat

And how is my religion "just awful"? Please....enlighten me.

  • @4iluvsuga Hm.. homophobia, sexism, slavery, rape-marriage, the killing of ACTUAL children to punish an evil ruler, the list is quite formidable. Oh, and a supposedly 'loving' parent who you have to beg forgiveness to every day or face eternal torture in a lake of fire b/c he made you to spite a devil who got too big for his birthces- he wants you to be a slave yet gave you free will and no evidence, only 'faith', and tortures those who utilize the gift of free will..

    ...Uh, your -c

  • -c religion is a bad science-project made to spite someone, and an abusive/neglectful relationship AND an emotional battering ram in which fear, intolerance, slavery and guilt are rewarded and self-love, tolerance and independence are punished.

...have you not read history books?

The ONLY reason xtains/catholics are not STILL acting like modern-day muslims- killing/stoning/burning people is b/c of the spread of democracy... remember witch-burning?

  • @ryddelwearsahat

God is loving and we don't have to 'beg his forgiveness' to not face eternal torture. WE have free will. WE make the decision to sin. God is loving enough to give us a second chance and go to confession, to be able to be with him forever in heaven. And the Catholic church (I can't speak for all Catholics) and myself are not against homosexuals, it's the act that can come out of that we are against. Although it may not be as publicized, the Church does fight against everything-

  • @ryddelwearsahat

-that you listed. A bad Science project? Unless you feel that you have the right to deny history and science, we know that Jesus was real. Even if you choose to deny that he's God, you cannot deny his actual existence. And how do you make the connection between Muslims and Catholics? The only thing we have in common is Jerusalem.

  • @4iluvsuga I never denied the existence of jesus- I just deny that he was ACTUALLY god. Your kind has everything is common with muslims- a very bloody, sexist, cruel history based on oppression and the mutilation of facts. Your church fights FOR the things I've listed and defies nature and truth and always has- want proof? How much HISTORY do YOU know? How much REAL history, that is..? How much bullshit forcefeed hzve you swallowed & taken for granted for the sake of self-defamism? -c

  • -c What do you know of the Ctholic Inquisition? The most blood-soaked book in human hitory- Mellaus Maleficrum- The Witches' Hammer- indoctrinated the world to 'the dangers of free-thinking women' and instructed the clergy how to locate, torture, and destroy them. Those deemed 'witches' by the church included all female scholars, priestesses, gypsies, mystics, nature lovers, herb gatherers, and any woman 'suspiciously attuned to the natural world'. Midwives were also killed -c

  • -v for their 'heretical' practice of using medical knowledge to ease the pain of childbirth- a suffering, the church acclaimed, that was God's rightful punishment for Eve's partaking of the Aplle of Knowledge, thus giving birth to Original Sin. During 300 years of witch hunts, the Church burned at the stake 5 MILLION women. The propaganda and bloodshed worked and our modern world is living proof. Women, once celebrated as an essential half of spiritual enlightenment, had been -c

  • -c banished from the temples of the world. There were no female orthodox rabbis, Catholic priests, nor Islamic clerics. The once hallowed act of Heiros Gamos- the natural sexual union between man and woman through which each became spiritually whole- had been recast as a shameful act. Not even the feminine associated with the left-hand side could escape the church's defamation- in France and Italy, the words for 'left' gauche and sinistra- came to have deeply negative -c

  • -c overtones, while their right-hand counterparts rang of RIGHTeousness, dexterity, and correctness. To this DAY radical thought is considered LEFT wing, and anything evil is SINISTER.

..your religion is a stain on the earth, deeply-rooted in sexism against women.

You have no education and no self-respect, just the need to cling to something based in fear and judgement so that you can feel better about your insecurities and mistakes, while putting yourself above others in -c

  • -c a 'club mentality'- you're part of GODS secret club- so it doesn't matter how much you deface yourself, limit yourself, or how little real knowledge you have, or what flaws you have- as long as you put yourself BELOW 'god', you're elevated ABOVE everyone else..

..I don't deny that Jesus was real- but your kind denies the existence of SO much, out of cowardice and fear.. that you should have no right to even SPEAK the words science or history.

  • Well nobody is denying what abortion is. We all know it eliminates a fetus. Nobody WANTS to have one but sometimes it's the best option. It can be used for good. For example, say you had a young daughter that used birth control but it failed. Should she be punished with a child to raise at, say, 16 years old? Adoption is an option but it's a long and time-consuming journey. Not all are adopted. Not everyone has the resources to raise a child at a time when they're not financially ready.

  • Keep your laws off their tiny bodies!

  • Unfortunately, the unborn child who gets dismembered, crushed and tossed away like garbage has no "choice" in the matter.

  • There's no point in killing someone so someone else can 'avoid emotional and mental pain'. Life is all about joy, pain, love, life, death and suffering; it can't be avoided and to think that killing someone ..your unborn child will alter that is believing

and living a delusional life. If we destroy all that the world deems imperfect there would be no one left. There are many 'beautiful' people in this world who are truly ugly inside. Spiritual life is forever, physical beauty perishes.

  • Someone needs to speak for the voiceless--keep your laws off the tiny bodies!

  • @bluepuppyboy AMEN!

  • @bluepuppyboy Keep your laws off women's bodies. We're intelligent beings who have the right to do what we please.

  • @stephsayss

I never said you or women are stupid--I used to be pro-choice, then discovered what abortion really is and how much abortion hurts people, including the moms and especially the babies...

  • @bluepuppyboy Also, they're not babies. Babies are born beings. Let's not get that confused now.

  • @stephsayss

Yes, they are--they are just as much of a person as anyone else-with a beating heart within 18 days--as much DNA as you or anyone else. This "glob of tissue" lie has got to go!

  • I love this video (:

  • From the news, you'd think the pro-death crowd was massive, and yet, they're very small...the Flash Mob, without really trying is about half the size without the same organization...well, done Lifers.

  • @captaindiesalot lol pro-death? puh-lease.

  • @stephsayss

oh? Puh-lease, yourself. The "pro-choice" crowd is simply using Orwellian nuance to provide cover for what they stand for: The RIGHT TO MURDER...or, in my Orwellian nuanced nomenclature, the Pro Death Movement. Since Abortion = DEATH, it's certainly NOT a Pro Choice...choosing death of a person who has not voiced a "choice" is simply murder. No other way to look at it, unless you're an illogical emotional liberal.

  • @captaindiesalot Pro-choice is EXACTLY what it says. The choice between having an abortion or to have a child! See the choice there? The "pro-life" crowd, on the other hand, would rather oppress women and make them have a child, regardless of if they want to or not. That's taking away a women's right to choose.

  • @stephsayss

No, it's Pro-death...the choice is between Life or Death.

  • @stephsayss Once you are pregnant, you WILL have a child. There is no possible way of escaping it. The only choices left after conception are whether you have a live child or a dead child. Abortion= dead child. This message approved by the following: biology, embryology, medicine, science, technology.... and God.

  • @crawfordroses I think you mean dead fetus, for an unborn baby is not a child. JSYK, I'm Catholic but you guys make it so easy for open-minded, good-hearted Catholics to leave the church. I'm sure God wouldn't approve a misogynistic message like yours. He has given us free will and says not to cast judgement upon others. So mind your own business. Does it personally affect you if someone chooses to have a LEGAL abortion? If so, you might want to check your priorities.

  • @stephsayss I can only assume that you are at the very youngest a teenager and at the very oldest a geriatric. You are not young, but you are still a child. I am a child. We are all somebody's child.

Yes, it does personally affect me when women have chosen LEGAL abortion, just as much as it personally affects the world that Nazi Germany LEGALLY exterminated 6 million Jews, homosexuals, and handicapped people. 1/3 of my generation has been slaughtered in the name of "choice."

  • @stephsayss words of wisdom from the revered MLK:

“Never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was legal.”

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

Tell me, did black people cease to be human when American law protected the right to own and sell slaves, then "magically" became more human when the law acknowledged them as persons with rights? None of our laws cannot alter biological facts.

Don't let your brains fall out of that open mind of yours.

  • is there video from the abc 7 news van anywhere? I'd love to see the story as reported on the news

  • You pro-lifers are the best!!!! Nothing like a suprised baby killer!

  • Pro-Life Flash Mobs Rock!
