please answer a question, is there a door that connects the bathroom to another bedroom?? Because I do not see a wall dividing the bathroom and another room with a bed, I would not think his bathroom is in the same room as a bed.
Where is the separate bathroom? I know there is another that Lisa used, and in Guralnick's Careless Love, it says Ginger woke up, talked to her mother on the phone, went into her bathroom to wash up, & then knocked on Elvis's bathroom & found him. Is it the large gray area shown on the plans by Lisa's room?
It says part of this is made from "This is Elvis" which is a docudrama which shot some scenes actually upstairs in Graceland in 1981 which was before Graceland was opened to the public and they shut the upstairs down. You will see various amounts of the upstairs according to the version. One just shows the Ginger character & Elvis impersonator walking upstairs, him looking into lisa's room & then going into the bathroom, The one that was on YT showed them finding Elvis--not for real enacted.
It was really upstairs though, and Lisa would stay in her room upstairs after Elvis died because she said ,when she, her husband Michael Lockwood, Oprah, & Gail ate dinner at the main dining table at Graceland when Oprah got a private tour, that her Aunt Delta upset her at that same table when she was 11 or 12, and she ran upstairs to her room & slammed the door. There have to be people that go upstairs even now to clean and the entire building had to be checked before the president visited.
This is very similiar to the layout, only Elvis bed is not right, I believe it was not next to the bathroom but across from it, the bedroom is very small compared to the real one, things are missing like the statue of Jesus and the tiger, and did it show the dressing rooms? It is not completely right but close.
The bathroom was in Elvis bedroom and a door separated the bathroom from the outer hall next to Lisa's bedroom. Elvis bedroom was huge and he also had a dressing room connected in his bedroom as well as next to Lisa's bedroom.
Check out the documentary "This is Elvis". I was so surprised, too. In the beginning they filmed the last evening of Elvis with actors. BUT on the original location in the upper floor at Graceland, just a few years after Elvis' death. That means: everything was still as it was when Elvis last lived there. You see from Elvis' angle as he walks through almost the entire upper floor on his last night. The next scene shows his girlfriend looking for him the next day... It's so sad.
Very Nice, But I'm sorry it is not correct. Its missing Lisa Marie's bathroom and the shape of her room is not correct either. Also missing a few windows. Looks good otherwise!
I agree. But do we have any pictures, beside the floorplanes, that actually verifies, that there was a bathroom in Lisas room? I still doubt, and I'm still looking for the proof.
Maybe you could do the same for the rest of the house? Charlie Hodge lived down in the basement. I saw the door in 1997, when I last visited Graceland. It is directly in front of you when you walk down the main(mirrored) stairs between the pool playing area and the TV room. It is unseen during the main Graceland tour.

@epmelodygirl I agree with the latter part of your comment. I don't believe the "locked up and sealed shut for over 30 years" theory

when I was 6 years old...(1989) they wouldn't let anyone upstairs. I think he lived up there then. He didn't die in 1977.

nobody is able to go up there still

That phone right there in the bathroom. To bad he wasn't able to use it...I believe there is a t.v. in the ceiling in his bedroom.

After doing extensive research on the upstairs at Graceland - I have to say , "boy, you relly did your homework!" Great Job.

It appears to me, EP's bedroom was next to the bathroom and not much of a door seperating the two rooms. Is this correct ?
