  • hmm...good filmography, but poor scripting and plot.

  • i saw this at top screens and it scared me, but i couldn't get it out of my mind coz it was so good!!

  • can someone just clear up the story hear a bit for me? the way i see it this girl is in some kind of limbo living hell because she kills what appears to be her brother and then her older sister and she is too psychotic to realize it til the end? throw me a bone here, i really want someone's take on this. it's a good film.

  • i also saw this at top design. my whole class loved it. A+ work, honestly.

  • really nice cinematography.

    the vx2000's are brilliant cameras.

wish i hadn't sold mine! haha

  • your movie was pretty cool but then the ending was kind of weird

  • what did it all mean

  • I saw this at top screens and it was the standout. Congratulations on producing such an exceptional film, I'm a media teacher and I show it to my classes. Good luck with you further films, keep up the fantastic work

  • hey great film, just wondering how much u spent on the camera. im trying to avoid using a skool camera. did u have to make a 1 minute film in media before the black pages?? if so, u should upload it. id like 2 see it. you can see myne by goin 2 my profile.

  • hey. i spent about $3000 on the camera im pretty sure, pay a bit more for HD. if you cant buy a camera see if you can hire one, thats what i woulda done if there was a hire place in this area. yeah i did the 1 minute movie, the music is copyright so i havent bothered uploading it. thanks.

  • Oh and jealousy, how did you get access to such a top camera!?

  • I saw this at Top Screens! Love it!

  • i prefer the other one.

i reckon the other music makes it more scary, the oasis music makes it more emotional.

but what would i know, ur the one with the top design.

    DAMN YOU! lol

  • Amazing..looks professional, in my view.

What did you end up getting for your raw study score?

  • wow !! i was searching vx2100 today, and came across this! im so inspired ! well done! is there a longer version, could you send me a hard copy! im so impressed. I just bought a vx2100, and im looking for things to do with it. bravo ! encore !

  • where abouts did you shoot the opening shot in the beautiful field?

  • the oasis song i didnt get correct copyright, so thats the reason there is 2 versions of this film, the 2nd version has all copyright free music. i usually email to gain permission anyway.

the field shot was filmed at my house, i live on a farm and we had oats growing there.

  • oasis song at the end?

how did you get the rights to that song?

  • Yeah I saw this at Top Screens. It was the only good one in my opinion. A very well made piece, good job.

  • wow, seriously and honestly, u shud become a director. this is amazing

  • hey, this is an amazing video, saw it at top design, it deserved to be there. how did you do it? what inspired you!

  • fantastic scenery!

  • and your filming was really awesome quality too! how did you do that focus thing?

  • when you say the focus thing im guessin ur talkin bout the creek and the grass. its just spinnin the manual focus. cool thankyou :)

  • this was fucking awesome. i was so into it. the screen changed colour tones really abruptly though. i can see why it made top screens! fucking awesome. its so professional!

  • hey, saw your film at top screen...i wish i could make films like you! that was amazing! looks really proffessional... love your work. good luck for the future! :D

  • watched this today at top films.

    fuckin good as mate

  • hey dude top notch short film,

i also viewed this at top screens today, and clearly was the best, to be honest this stopped me from falling asleep lol.

  • Its not VX 2100. Its easy to see.

  • sorry its actually a vx 2100e . although i dont see how there would be much of a diff

  • Complimenti, bel video. Ovviamente mi riferisco alle immagini, perchè, per quanto riguarda la lingua, ho capito poche cose :D Complimenti anche al regista.

PS: Sono Italiano. Sai! per la traduzione

  • grazie :)

  • haha i love the song choice at the end, its at the end of butterfly effect. by the way, did you use any filter effects in editting? the color looks amazing. i just ordered the vx2000 and it shouldnt be too different. if it looks like this with no filter, i'm very pleased

  • haha. your doin xactly wat i was doin wen i was gettin this camera. no filters were used, although i did boost up the colour and white balance in the 'custom preset' function (which is on the camera). play around with the white balance, it is the key to the colours.

have fun with the camera, its pretty simple.

  • hey great job with your film, love the concept. I saw it at Top Screen (mine was the black and white animation at the start). the amount of technical difficulties they had was ridiculous, but the story and cinematography still came out brilliantly- congrats!

  • hey wow your film was so good. short and sweet and everyone was laughing, you must be happy with that. talkin 2 some people afterwards they said yours was one of best. good job on that. yeah tech stuff up was a bit diss, but it'l be playing for the next fews months or so. so yep, congrats to you and thanks.

  • hey, we saw this film at Top Arts at ACMI today! it was the best film out of the 12 we saw!

  • hey thats awesome. it did stuff up half way through but i think it still came arcoss pretty good :)

  • I prefer this version. I love the ending.

  • hey buddy, great, great movie..

clearly the best year 12 movie ive ever seen..

i was looking to do something similar and im jst curious to know what study score u received? cheers

  • thanks. for this project i got an A+ and my overall study score for media was 35. are you going to be doing this? if so, make sure you study alot on media influence, its wat brought my score down the most.

  • This is extrememly good. When I first watched it I thought is was a real scene from a movie lol. Great Video :)

  • That was wonderful. I just have a few questions. Did you conform the frame rate in post to create that cine look? What kind of microphone did you use to capture the audio? And how did you get the colors to be so vivid?

    Thanks in advance.

  • thanks, glad you liked it. i didnt adjust the frame rate at all, its pretty much just the default settings on the camera. sorry not too sure what 'cine' is, but i think iv got the general gist. i used the microphone in the camera, although after shooting the visuals i would usually record the sound agan so i wasnt limited to the audio thats was recorded with the visuals.

  • hey andrew, its me remeber? i love!! it im on the finishing verge of the anime of it

  • sweet!!! thats really cool, i wasnt sure whether you went along wit it. but you have.

    cant wait to see it.

    andy.

  • I believe what makes a real Film is how well of the quality you can make it look like Film, and another thing is the Music Construction!!! You passed in my books!! Beautiful!!!

  • fantastic!! i wish i'd had a camera like that for my SAT - the quality was incredible!!

  • VERY VERY COOL

  • That was truly amazing.

    Your work is brilliant.

    Great score as well.

  • good watch. very well directed

  • wow great work!

  • brilliant!!

  • i hope you have copyright approval for that music *cough*topscreen*cough*

  • great twist n brilliant cinematography
