Billy Blanks was a top 10 tournament fighter in the 80's. He had classic battles with Steve Nasty Anderson and others. He was ko'd, but that's fighting for you, all it takes is one punch or one kick. His front roll ax kick was his signature move.

Billy Blanks was a top 10 tournament fighter in the 80's. He had classic battles with Steve Nasty Anderson and others. He was ko'd, but that's fighting for you, all it takes is one punch or one kick. His front roll ax kick was his signature move.

His name is S. John Hamzy, I've known him for.....about 8 years. I am absolutly positive this is him, hes a tenth degree black belt, and If you notice in the video before the punch and kick he crouches a bit and pulls up his pantlegs. Something he does almost everytime he throws that combination. (trust me I've sparred hi before I know from experience ^_^ and your right rockey he is anything but a slouch)

Everyone gets caught eventually. If my memory serves me correctly, Billy Blanks is a 7 time WORLD CHAMPION. So he's no slouch. Pretty sure the guy that knocked him out is no scrub either.

lot of misinformed people on youtube...billy blanks was one of the best karate fighters of all time...fast as hell, mean as a snake...to me, this doesn't actually look like him, so i have my doubts, but even if it is, he got hit with a good hook kick, it happens. if it was him, i'll be willing to bet he got up and beat the hell out of that man, as he did almost all of his other opponents.

This happened WAAAAYY before he earned the 7 Degree Black Belt that he holds today. This happened in the 1980's in the VERY BEGINNING in his early years of competing. I wouldn't say they would get annihilated, because almost all UFC fighters have martial arts training. And you are forgetting that karate and other martial arts were invented to kill your opponent when you didn't have a weapon.
