Faris reminds me of a young Nick Cave. The Horrors reminds me of The Birthday Party era and early Bad Seeds. The whole Grinderman cover with Cat's Eyes proves the influence Cave has been to him in a provable way. I can also see the influence of Bauhaus, The Cramps, The Damned, etc. Awesome.
