Joe Hursh has been the TBS-Superstation announcer for years, so his voiceover sounds a bit phoned in because he's a "professional". Matt Hanson was just an enthusiastic park cast member who was recruited for the recordings after they heard his voice.
@Supermassively You know, this is the only voice I ever remember in the monorail. I thought this was the same guy who has been doing it forever. I'll have to do some looking around...
@MrMorganOBrien Nope, Matt Hanson was the voice of the WDW monorails from 1998 to 2004, after replacing Kevin Miles, who replaced the classic Jack Wagner in 1988. This is Joe Hursh who has never been a Disney voice until 2004.
Wagner was before my time. Miles was great, but Hanson just had the perfect voice to hear as you board the monorails early in the morning. He just sounded so enthusiastic, and always got me excited for the parks.

I really miss Matt Hanson's voiceover from the 90's. They were so much more warm and genuine than this "professional voice actor" recording.
