Looks like the bottom of the baseplate has cheeseplate so yes. snap on a Quick release system and you should be good to go.

the canon 50mm 1.8....aka fantastic plastic. or nifty fifty does not work well with follow focus systems due to the Microscopic focus ring on the tip of the lens....

what happens if you want to focus it and also telescope the lens?...does that mess up the follow focus unit ??
