Wait, isn't Arlen Spector one of the most left leaning Republicans- maybe he's doing us a favor by keeping this comedy of errors in the news- he said he wanted it to go away yet now he's going to open himself up to cross examination in court about toliet sex- great television- once he resigns the entire issue is finished- he's going to be ridiculed as long as he stays on.

If he doesn't resign he'll be thrown out of the party- there's no way to make sneaky filthy toliet sex acceptable to taxpayers who pay his salary- especially the GOP- he could do a stint in Riverdance or get a job as a tapdancing mensroom attendant or install glory holes at rest stops around the nation.

I'd love for him to stay in the Senate and in the spotlight. Best thing that could happen for Democrats. With any luck he'd start talking about values and overcompensating again. What a feast! Even if he beats the rap, he was still caught trolling for gay sex, and getting out of a misdemeanor won't change that.

I think Craig's a foolish hypocrite, but I agree with you, he should fight the case. Not only because it will keep the media focussed on Republican hypocrisy but because it will provide an example for other guys who've been busted for cruising toilets of how to fight against entrapment and police intimidation.

Pointless, it's all pointless. Just Media Fluff. It's not like he got his noodle sucked on the job or anything. And even then that is no real reason to have so much media coverage. What are the stories this is taking attention from. I would love for someone to do like a "what happen this week that you should of heard about" 10 min special. You still don't get it. It's not so much the behavior (I don't condone of Frank's activities) but the vitriolic attacks by Craig that are in opposition to his real life. He hates a part of himself (in this case a proclivity for men) and then proceeds to try to drive it out of others. It shows, if nothing else, a major lack of insight. I'd rather not have him making major decisions about the country.
