First - Alex has much better offensive powers than Heller - bulletdive drop with musclemass for example.

Second - we didn't hate Heller, because he's black - he is not human, so he can't be negro, asian, caucasian, and others, we just want Alex - he wearing a hood, he voiced by Barry Pepper and hes is badass.

First - Heller has almost all of Alex's abilities, plus more. So his offensive powers are better. The only power he doesn't have is muscle-mass, which was replaced with tendrils. Heller's so powerful that he basically has a permanent muscle-mass ability.

Second - Unlike Alex, Heller was a living human that was infected. So he's still a black man. Just one that can shape-shift into other things. Also, Alex is no longer voiced by Barry Pepper.

I'm a fan of Alex too but believe me the game is better and it involves Alex BIG TIME!! Just like Assassin's Creed when people saw Ezio they said "we want Altair back" but AC2 as you saw is way more advanced than AC 1 disregarding the protagonist :)
