  • That knife looks like it'd be a fantastic bushcraft tool

  • Ivory is more whiter so its most likely bone since its has a yellowish tint to it. I think.

  • @ImBackinUpBackinUp You may be right. I think ivory yellows as it ages also.

  • i will take the decoy for 10$

  • @THEgrimREAPER1010 Thanks but I'm keeping it.

  • Nepal is not in the middle east just to make that clear... i dont think you were implying that but kinda sounded like it when you hear it ..

  • can i buy that knife

  • @keco28 Thanks, but this one is in my personal collection.

  • Cute $2 Decoy

  • The knife is Tibetan.70 to 100 years old. Definitely not a bayonet scabbard! The groove in the blade is a "fuller", it adds rigidity to the blade (like a "H" section beam). It has nothing whatsoever to do with blood.

  • Blood groove is just a macho man replacement for fuller.

Besides, fullers have nothing to do with militaria. They are used in knife designs to make them lighter. And considering its size and from tibet, its intended use is probably a skinning knife, used by wandering tribes on the tibetan plains. Chances are the knife left along with its owner after the chinese annexed tibet.

  • There is a blood groove on that knife, that was a militaria knife - or a hunting knife.
