But i agree, it is becoming tiresome and movies that are more relevant to today's society are needed. Spike Lee is still the best when it comes to dealing with modern-day problems in black communities that are honest about the good and the bad.

Critically acclaimed hits and he can get the best actors in some of their best performances. His only downside is that they are made for an intelligent audience, so you wouldn't like them.

yeah i agree. some parts i felt that denzel washington went the extra distance to make whites appear stupid. ex, juxtaposition of the pig farmer and the educated black father. there are intelligent caucasians AND blacks, but he just went the extra mile making whites seems dumb.
