I was in Australia in 1992 visiting my father that had emmigrated there only months before....there was an advert on TV for this album called the yearning - it gave a 10 second extract on each of the singles released from this album....I thought these sound alright and went to see them in a tiny venue in adelaide called the WhiteLion,

They blew me away and the Yearning is in my top 5 albums of all time..its beautiful, different and inspiring -it taught me how to write songs
