This is a tool for the homeowner who is short on time and money, yet still wants to be handy around the home. It is suppost to help build things around the house, not to build the house. I am buying one this weekend and am looking forward to using it.
I hated this machine, its sloppy and difficult to cut nice accurate lines. It is underpowered and can't handle hardwood. I would never recommend this to any serious woodworker possily a hobbyist but only they were very limited in their tool budget.
@2dogsfukin1 I agree. Cheap tools are expensive in the long run as they will not do the job and you end up replacing them. Even if you are an occasional user, buy a good tool and you will never have to replace it.
You have to admit that this is a good idea. No it won't keep up with a bunch of gorillas on a building site and it won't cut a 4x8 sheet of anything in half but that is not what it's made for. For anyone that makes anything finer than the apes with axes and chainsaws on a rough carpentry job, this makes sense.
Too bad it is built to make money for Rockwell and not a quality tool that pro's expect. If it had a $150.00 jig saw mounted to it and it wasn't mostly plastic, I would definitely consid
im sorry but there is no way that this cheapo saw will replace my 15 amp makita skill saw, bosch jig saw, dewalt saw zall, delta table saw...etc.. this a joke!
the Rockwell Bladerunner video is deceiving, The close ups are in fast motion making the motor seem more powerful than it actually is. Also the idea behind a "real" scroll was is that the blade does not flex side to side, like it does with this glorified Jigsaw which is nothing more than a jigsaw mounted upside down. So don't be fooled by the nice looking table, its really no different than mounting your own jigsaw upside down. (also hate to mention ti, but the girl in the video looks pregnant.
With ALL your comments directed towards the poor audio sync and NOT your product after 4 months (!!!), do you think you would 'look into it' a little faster?
@SeenonTVNetwork Oh yeah. Clearly you "looked into it." you're a "TV Network" that can't even sync audio to video. Congrats retards, you're one of a kind
I thought it replaced other tools but I still need a circular saw for angle cuts and saw bench for long cuts!!!

Will I able to use this machine for wood flooring for my house?
What are the pros and cons for flooring using the Rockwell jigsaw?
I appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
