  • pat ; une belle déesse du rock des 80 s

  • that drummer is bad azz!

  • r.i.p loll

  • This looks more like they're on a TV program than an actual promo video

  • @selinakyle, I hear you, there are a lot of very talented female singers out there today. My question is who is out there that can hold Patricia Mae Andrzejewski's microphone?

Also, I assume your comment "Madonna is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame??? WTF?" means that you also question how Madonna can be in the RRHoF before Pat.

    Peace out.

  • Simply the best. Would kill any of the dumb dumbs lipstick blondes out there today!

  • A leotard, tights and jacket. Why doesn't she dress this way anymore?

    She makes me horny.

  • how come a women that rocks out seem so..........HOT

  • Pat still rocking until today. ooooh the glorius 80's

  • Myron was not even the drummer on the first album. a studio drummer Paul Alexander hamilton was.

  • That is lip sync.

  • lol its that crazy drummer again lol

  • Myran is the man!

  • i like the guitar solo at the end

  • so ROCKER.....

  • She is the hands down the undisputable Goddess of Rock and Roll. Second and third video ever played on MTV. No one compares. Power, range, passion, emotion, looks, She is the $hit. No one is even close. It makes me SICK that Madonna made it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before Benatar. Makes me SICK!

  • Word.

  • I dido your comments..if anyone knows rock this is THE Woman of rock that opened all the doors for those who followed.

  • Pat is one of my favs. I am also partial to the Heart Sisters......Ann Wilson.

    I agree with your post!!!

  • madonnna banged her way in

  • FIrst of all respect to you.

Do the math. The dates do not substantiate your comments.

Secondly, Madonna was NEVER rock. I will agree she is the queen of pop. Rock .... NO!

  • having SEEN the beginning of MTV and heard Pat Benetar in 1979, you are very bad at math, celestial calendars, etc. Yes, Madonna was kinda rock, more pop Pat was rock, kinda pop. The point being, Madonna's pop trumped Pat rock. Simply put. By the way, why aren't "The Cars" in the RRHOF?? Just asking

  • actually Pat's You Better Run was the SECOND video ever played on MTV, not this one.

  • Yeah, actually I said Pat had the second and third video on MTV. Nobody will ever top her. She was and is the best.

  • @chuckfleener Yeah , Madonna is not rock and should not be there. Two other females on par with Pat Benatar are Linda Ronstadt and Ann Wilson, I don't think they are in the HOF either.

  • @chuckfleener Moreover, I can't think of a single "rock and roll" song that Madonna has done. What quality rock and roll song has she ever sang/performed? While Pat Benatar would lip synch for these videos, when she performed live she actually sang. Madonna was the queen of lip synching. It's ridiculous to compare the two let alone induct Madonna into a "Rock and Roll" hall of fame ahead of someone like Pat Benatar. Madonna always was and always will be a "show" and never a quality vocalist.

  • @chuckfleener There are a lot of great female rockers today, they just don't get the mainstream attention or record deals. You have to really look for them but they are there!

Madonna is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame??? WTF?

  • Uhm, It's an early promo video. Did you see the title?

  • I can't wait to play this on Guitar Hero World Tour.

  • One of my favorite songs.

  • I think it's kind of obvious that is NOT a live performance. Duh.

  • it didn't say live...

  • but it doesn't mean their singing in the rain either...its probably a practice...I mean...people do practices like that all the time..and this one sounds really good. ^^

  • love that girl

  • Awesome clip. Thanks for sharing :)

  • thank you

  • ARREA...

  • Pantyhose heaven:D

  • a classic song by an awesome singer!

  • Heartbreaker... this song will never die.. pure classic.. love this song it kicks ass.. it empowers women (i think)

  • a few months ago someone posted them playing live on some tv show. it was the song "Invincible" i think. it has been removed. can someone please repost it. it sounded great.

  • i love this song

  • Man, this is just freaking timeless.

  • This was cut to the original studio cut. Myron is just flailing his arms everywhere. Probably a prop kit. Who is that other guitarist opposite Giraldo. Perhaps he played on the original recording?

  • This is not studio, it's live. Listen to the record, you'll see.

  • scratch that, it's lip-synced. Posted too hastily.

  • I beg to differ. Key giveaway is the layered vocals during the middle break. Not to mention Myron hitting the ride cymbal and we hear the crash and the added applause track at the end. I edit broadcast tv for a living, so I humbly write with at least some knowledge here- no offense.

  • you are totally right

  • It's Scott Sheets, always credited with "Rhythm guitar." They fired him after the 3rd album.

  • And here's me thinking that the main live vid was the original promo. This is an absolute rocker. Cor blimey Youtube rox!!!

  • someone needs to make a hardcore version of this song

  • No, someone needs to euthanize you before your infectious thoughts spread like a plague and pervert the minds of those not whose intelligence is greater than that of a shrubbery. The song is fine how it is and hardcore music is GARBAGE.

  • i love this song it is pritty awsome! and i mostly like rap so ya!!!

  • I want sexy time with her

  • Ace Song

  • Like the beatles!!

  • damn she kicked ass in this song!! boy this song brings me back in the days of real rock n roll!!

  • exactly how would that happen?

  • dude this is loike the best song ever!!!! i mean im 13 and i just heard it the oth er day and it was awesome!!

  • the riff and the vocal harmonies are perfection

  • one of the greatest 80s songs ive ever heard.

  • mr magoo

  • janelle big brother

  • I almost like it better when she just sings without the music (for a brief segment). The rest of the band just distracts from her awesome voice.

  • Pats voice was great, Neil was cute and the drummer is still as scary as ever lol

  • kickass song , with a kickass singer :)

  • i love this song, pat is such a great artist

  • some one should really bring that look back XD Yellow leotard + blackish leggings + blazer = lawl. Luv pat but I really don't get the fashion from then... people came up with the weirdest style choices then...Xd and 20 years from now i'll probably say the same about myself so, meh!

  • you will say that about yourself, we all will. 100 years from now when people are walking around with bluetooth chips in their skulls, they'll be laughing at all of us folks from the old century

  • great song

  • good song and video, the guy with the black les paul looks a bit like jimmy page

  • incredible !

  • Great voice. Great legs! Thank you for adding.

  • wow she's lowered herself to air guitar poor pat i mean i love you but come on why'd ja hafta do airguitar on stage?

  • MOST TV SHOWS WEREN'T LIVE.

  • great voice...sounds like terra naomi
